I love these waxes!!

I love using these waxes as a finishing touch to my mixed media projects. I don't have a favorite since they all add a little different color and sheen to each project, but the opal magic is one of my favorites. And the smell s fantastic!

Great wax

So disappointed in this product. It says it is Green Brocade Wax and there is NOTHING green about this wax, it is a pearly kind of gold. Would never buy anything from this company again because they miss represent their product.

Product was purchased to go with other Prıma Marketıng/Finnabair products. All the Metallic and Opal Magic wax pastes work well on black gesso...the Metallics will work on light colours also. This product, like any of the PM/F products, should be used over a gesso of some kind...black is best. Tinted gesso will render a different colour/tone. The Wax paste is very much wax based and the fragrance that some people are complaining about is in part due to the wax. Due to the wax base, it needs soap and warm water to clean up...it will not clean off hands with just water like some other metallic wax pastes. The product may be shown as being in a small tin, but it appears to be sold carded (packaged in plastic and cardboard) and in a tube now. The metal seal on the tube needs to be punctured before use. (Note: If tube comes without package or package is not pristine...check to see that seal is intact.) I tried this on Off White Leather Effect FIMO with a clear PM Art Basics gesso. A small brush was used to work the Brocade Green Opal Magic into the facial crevasses and excess buffed off with slightly abrasive pad (Opal Magic does not show well on light colours) before the Rose Gold was applied wit a finger and worked in. The Green Brocade shows up as a yellowish tone in the lighter areas. On the darker set, created using Black Leather Effect FIMO, which was prepared with black gesso, the Brushed Iron Metallic Wax was applied first on most areas with finger and then the Green Brocade was mostly applied to eye/nose/mouth “T” and shows up as an olive tinge.

Enjoyed using this product a lot as I do with all the Prima decor waxes. The colour is like applying pearl. And the smell is delightful.
