I got this unit because my game/office room was dead space when it came to our swap cooler keeping it cool. Nothing I did affected the the temp in that room and when sim racing with vr you would sweat like crazy.After a few weeks of using this cooler it has worked amazingly. A little loud when streaming but my mics take care of the background noise. It’s currently 100° outside and my game room is a cool 72°. It fits in a decent corner of the room next to a window to vent the hot air it creates. Was easy to set up. The remote is a nice feature as well. Over all a great unit for the price when compared to other that are $100+ more.

Very nice! I have only had it for a few days, but I am very happy with it. It gets hot rooms cool very quickly. The compact size is also a very nice feature. I would highly recommend it, thank you!

We bought this to replace our window unit.. DONT!This thing is huge, not only is the machine bulky, the vent hose that goes to the window is so big and makes it an eye sore and impossible to not have it practically in the middle of the room.We live in the south so we would have to empty the water every few ours or have a bucket for the water to drain into but with my house already being humid the water build up would make it even worse.LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEASTTHE NOISE THIS MAKES IS UNBEARABLE, It sounds like a bug is stuck in the fan blades and it goes in and out constantly.. I was crawling out of my skin listening to this thing. I understand being loud but it was not a solid white noise!We will be returning and now we know a standing ac is not for us.

Pros: cools well, comes with an install kit, same noise level as a window unit.Cons: needs it’s own plug or won’t operate properly, will trip breakers if multiple things running with it. Takes ups floor space.

My apartment has awning windows so I couldn't install a traditional window-unit AC. So I chose this portable. Had to have a piece of plywood cut to fit the window frame and through which to run the vac hose, as well as buy an extra elbow and hose extension due to how high my bedroom awning window is from the floor, but once that was all done, this thing became a summer savior.One feature I really like is the dehumidifier fan. I live in Chicago and our summers can be very humid. Thus, when I run the dehumidifier fan it cools things down as if the air conditioning is running. In fact, I have only run the air conditioner mode a handful of times the entire summer. The dehumidifier fan has been more than enough.My only criticims are minor. One, the sleep mode doesn't really work for me as it requires the unit to power up and down throughout the night. I am often a light sleeper and the stop/start stuff wakes me up. Maybe I could get used to it -- who knows -- but it's kind of a useless feature for me. Also, as powerful as the unit is for my master-size bedroom, I am not sure it could cool my whole apartment as the 450 ft. claim suggest.Still, it's been a good product thus far. Now it's just a matter of how long it lasts.

It worked well but ... I was not able to drain it outside so I had to keep my eye on the pan I was putting the water in. I flooded my floors twice. I also did not have a deep bucket to use to empty it. It was still really great!

I have an upstairs bedroom with a sliding door. It got up to 90 degrees at one point. I had to cut some cardboard to seal the vent in the door wall, but it keeps the entire upstairs a crisp 65 degrees! My husky and I LOVE IT!!

I bought this because my house has no ac and I work overnight so trying to sleep during the day when it's a million degrees is torture. This machine works way better than I could have hoped for it actually made my room so cold I got up to turn it off. 10/10 would recommend if you need affordable cooling
