For the fan. This adds to the collection of books about Bob's other artistic efforts. So talented in many ways. His welded gates are a site to be seen .

I went to see the Face Value exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery, and this is a very nice record of the pictures which were on display. It's a large-format hardback book, with good quality reproductions on good-quality paper (as you would expect from The National Portrait Gallery) and, unlike some other recent catalogues of Bob Dylan's work (eg. The Asia Series at The Gagosian in New York), it's well-priced for the quality. Why not buy two? Dylan's artwork catalogues tend not to be reprinted and gain in value quickly...

Great book with some insight into Bob Dylan's art output

Had a look at this book in the National Portrait Gallery library when I went to see the exhibition. It is a very slim volume with a short essay at the start (I read it in the gallery shop) and the remainder is pictures from the collection. No way is this worth the asking price. Only really worth buying if you are a completest.
