I suffer from depression, don't sleep very well at night and on top of that, I have 2dogs which I have developed an allergy to the dander from their coats. On top of that load, I have always found myself prone to stress and tension which affects my neck, making this very stiff! I had heard about the beneficial qualities of these lamps but thought it was a load of the new age rubbish we are prone to hearing or seeing in magazine's and newspapers these days. I then thought to myself give it a bash at the price and see what happens.Well, believe me when I say that for the first time in year's, the last few days, when I normally struggled to get to sleep and when I did, you could put money on me being wide awake between 5 & 6 am. But over the weekend and this morning, I have slept so well to the extent that it has been my Amazon Echo which has woken me at 7am. I wake feeling more refreshed, happier and I am able to get down on the floor and play with the dogs.I would heartily recommend these lamps to anyone, they are not new age bumpkin but actually are very effective. I leave mine on permanently but find the salt level is getting lower. When I first bought this, the rocks of salt piled above the top of the lamp but today, it is about 1" below the top and despite a search of Amazon this evening, I am unable to find anyone who sells replacement rocks which is very disappointing as it looks as though at some point, I am going to be left with a useless lamp, and find myself having to buy a new one. Unless anyone can point me in the right direction. I did come across a seller who states in their blurb, that if you need more rocks, to contact them and they will happily send you a fresh supply, with no cost! Now that is excellent customer service!!! Overall though if you want to try these lamps out, I have no hesitation in recommending this one to you! Go on, go on, go on. You know you want to!

I got mine in August 2018 and it's now 3rd December 2019, for no apparent reason it's simply stopped working. It has lived in the same position the entire time and nothing has changed about its position or any other conditions. It's not a fuse issue since this is a USB device and all other connected devices are functioning fine so this can only be this unit. I can keep the salt but the rest will have to be disposed of which for a little over a year old is a giant waste of precious resources. I do wish companies would make things that last because we can't afford for them to waste finite resources. Steer clear of this product, its a waste of money and worse.

Bought for campervan. Tested at a home before trip. Fine really pleased. Unfortunately first use in van the unit failed to work and upon further investigation it appeared to have a melted ligh source. Returned for a refund which was given so thank you.Update. Surprised and very pleased the seller offered me a replacement unit. Had this for a week or so and so far so good. It now meets our expectations. In view of this and also an excellent customer service I have amended the rating to reflect this.

We now use this as a night light in my toddlers room. He loves it as it gives his room a nice colourful glow but we do hide it behind some furniture so it’s not bright in his eyes if he wakes up. I genuinely feel like he sleeps better since we’ve had it. So much so that I took it away on holiday with us and all 5 of us seemed to benefit from better sleep.Would definitely recommend.

USB cable but has to be always connected, plugged in.I thought was chargeable.
