I like that this has different options for triggering the smoke. The remote is super useful. You can use your own smoke liquid to adjust the consistency if you need to. Just understand that this is not going to put out billows of smoke like a traditional machine or like some of the marketing material shows. It is impressive for what it is though. Simple. Good smoke. Larger canister for longer burns. Good feature set in terms of attachments. No adjustments, just off and on. Not sure what the three display lights do besides indicate ON and battery charged. Translation of full on Madarin to English is a massive fail, if you are trying to understand how to use it. Completely useless manual.Bottom line is I bought two different units and picked this one to go with (by a coin flip) on an actual production set. It worked initially, then failed when I tried to trigger it again. Glad I had the second unit (Ulanzi), to sub in, which worked great. Remote on Ulanzi is more versitile, with more settings, and worked from farther away without issue. Smaller tank doesnt seem to make a difference for my purposes. Removable batteries on Ulanzi was important to me too. This unit - no way to remove or replace batteries. For me it was go with Ulanzi, not this unit.

This has worked well for me. Controllable, good smoke delivery and good accessories.

Works okay, clogs easily and the battery is subpar. It’s great for 30 seconds of solid use so get those pictures in quick. It’ll work intermittently for about an hour but only that first burst is really strong enough to be satisfying. Get a standard fog machine, a garden hose and a solar generator battery for portability and skip this over priced garbage.

We used to use smoke bombs for effects in photography, but they don't last long and aren't really useful indoors. Saw a recommendation for a similar device from a competitor but decided to try this instead. We were not disappointed. Relatively odorless, small, and lightweight. Going to be looking at this brand again for a larger model in the near future.

The Amazon shipping box was severely damaged, sides were badly crushed and there was a gapping rectangular hole that measured 5”s x 11”s long with the torn flap smashed back into an accordion shape, also had a second hole that is 5”s x 6”s in diameter. It is a miracle that the Mini Smoker box did not fall out during transit, also amazed that USPS did not tape the hole shut and place a sticker on the box advising unsure if contents had fallen out. I also observed the USPS Postal Carrier “toss” the box down instead of just placing it on the ground at our front gate - is not that heavy. The Mini Fog retail packaging had minor damage but it was intact and not torn open.Upon inspecting the Mini Fog Machine it appeared okay no visible exterior damage but I don’t know if their is internal damage because I don’t want to waste the tiny sample fog fluid. I did charge it up (standard USB 5W 2A charger)and turned it on for two seconds before turning it off, so it did charge up and did turn on and off. I plan on using the Mini Fog Machine to generate fog around an entree dish I plan on making for an upcoming dinner. I do plan on purchasing fog fluid just have not figured out the correct amount because I think one gallon is too much and the manufacture advises to only use the fog fluid, did note that the Lensgo fog fluid is expensive as compared to other brand fog fluid. Fit and finish was nice, no sharp edges or burrs, looks like an expensive high tech electronic device, nothing cheap looking.I have used fog machines before and did prior own a fog machine that we used for our haunted house, but its been many years. I like the small compact size, and like the remote control and that it will produce fog/smoke for eighteen minutes, especially like that it can be used around food. I can only review the visual appearance right now since I have not attempted to produce fog yet. Right now based on suggested MSRP which is not cheap but for a professional piece of electronic equipment, nice fit and finish, impressive fabrication, nice packaging, am giving it a 5 Star rating, I will revisit my review as soon as I actual use it for my dinner function. I do not know how many units well sell cause not cheap but I would buy it at the suggested MSRP price.

This mini fog machine is so much fun to play with. We like to decorate for the holidays and every now and then I'll just stop by the mantle and turn the little guy on. In seconds I have a really cool scene. It works really well.
