A fabulous jacket! It will keep you dry and warm and is a great buy.
I am from Wisconsin. I purchased this jacket as a windbreaker to wear over a fleece on stormy winter days. It probably is the best jacket I have ever purchased. It not only keeps the rain and winds out, but it actually assists in keeping me warm as the cuffs inside the sleeves keep drafts from coming up the sleeves. The length is great. I have several jackets that only come down to the waist and the extra length also helps keep out . Although it is very well made the price makes it an outstanding buy. My friends with costlier windbreakers have praised it. And to top it off it provides a lot of comfort with minimal weight. Buy one. You won't be sorry. whh

Great waterproof for long term use on farms
I've had this coat a couple of years and use it on a mixed arable pastoral farm located on moors, so it's fair to say it's been put through it's paces weather wise (snow, rain, hail) and it always keeps me dry.It doesn't need reproofing with tech sprays like some jackets do, it just does the job and keeps on going.Spacious for layering jumpers and fleeces under. Not tight across the arms or back so you can work in it easily without being restricted. This is not a lined coat, it's very much made for layering which gives it great versatility. It's not the smallest packing waterproof if you're taking it on work away, but I roll it up and stuff it into it's hood and it will pack to around the size of a large loaf of bread.Handy deep pockets, not zipped but deep enough for stuff to not fall out.The negatives:A couple of the poppers have come off, but I don't use them anyway as the zip is solid and the double flap stops water Ingress. The hood peak isn't wired, so it's a bit useless and I cut it off. I would 100% keep it on if it had a wired brim and I wish they would update the design to include this as wired brims are a fantastic feature on outdoor coats. Also If you're using a hosepipe with a leaky connection make sure you have the pocket flaps covering the opening to the pocket or else you will end up with a pond in your pocket.I wish they came in other colours, I'd get another in camel or tobacco brown (think carhartt or xtratuf brown) one for outside of work if they did one, but the green does have a distinctly farmery look to it and I don't always want to look like I'm off to wrangle sheep. Please make one in brown!

Excellent product
Excellent coat, does exactly what it says it should. I have only worn it once but the weather conditions could not have been worse. Very wind proof, waterproof, comfortable and warm. The only down sides are the hood is not as rigid as I hoped but tied tight it was perfect also I wore a peaked cap which set the hood shape nicely. And the pocket flaps could do with a fastening on each but pockets did not get wet to my surprise. I wore it beating and had no problems going through bushes and brambles with it. Brilliant coat for what you pay and would buy again.

For 20-odd quid, just get it.
I've had this a couple of hours, and used it once, under conditions that don't exactly push its limits. I wouldn't normally write a review under these circumstances, but I'm sufficiently impressed with it that I'm going to. It's made of material that's similar to flexothane, which is reasonably waterproof and breathable- it can get a bit damp on the inside if you've been working vigorously, but it's not excessive and a helluva lot cheaper than goretex (if the material performs differently to expected, I'll post an edit- if you don't see one, it's as expected). The seams are welded, and there's a decent double storm flap on the zip, which is nice, chunky and robust. The fit is as expected, there's a nice elasticated cuff, and the hood is a good size, with a peak, and can accommodate a hat underneath it. It's a decent length too, going down to mid thigh. Bigger pockets would have been nice, but dropping a star on a jacket this price seems churlish. A very well made jacket, well designed, and excellent value (I paid about £22- I've paid 10x as much for goretex jackets that aren't 5x as good).

You won't regret buying this
I have a horse, I live on a farm and I'm very pleased with this coat. If you're after a warm coat this is not for you, but if you're after a Waterproof coat that is not restrictive, then this is fab! It has poppers but I don't use them at present as the zip is well covered and no rain has come through yet. It's feels a bit stretchy and not at all restrictive but it's not elasticated it's that makes sense? I'm a UK size 14 and purchased this in M. I can easily wear a fleece jacket underneath it to keep warm, so don't be tempted to size up otherwise you may find it's too big on you. The hood is concealed within the collar but tbh I keep the hood out at all times so I have no need for this. The hood has a little peak to help keep rain at bay. It's long too, I'm 5'7 and it easily covers my rear! Well made and inexpensive. It's breathable too, so it gets the thumbs up from me. You won't regret buying this.

Great
I wouldn’t normally have chosen this jacket because I’d have been suspicious of the price - but I needed something cheap and cheerful to spend a week in the woods, and I was really pleasantly surprised. It had two warm stretch-wool cuffs internally and so addresses a main bugbear for me of the normal cagoule - of water and cold drafts shooting up my arm. The material is rubbery but nice to the touch, it’s super waterproof and the hood works for me - not too far forward, just enough to protect the forehead. The rubbery feel makes me think it might snag - but so far, it’s been brilliant value and I’m actively choosing to wear it. Strongly recommend!
