Good product for a fair price, product fits well. As for the micron rating,& performance, I dont have the equipment to evaluate to that detail.

I have a John Deere Z-225 Zero Turn mower with a Briggs&Stratton 18.5 HP motor. The replacement air filter, from JD cost me $16 + change last year when I winterized the mower. I felt "ripped off" and knew there had to be something cheaper. I found it. The only difference between these and a John Deere replacement part is that the rubber frame is blue where the "genuine John Deere" part is black. Also, this foam pre-cleaner is a lot thicker than JD's. Other than that they're exactly the same. Oh, I almost forgot, at this price you can get 4 of these for what you pay for 1 "Genuine John Deere Replacement Part" It's the same thing, functions exactly the same, and who cares if it's blue or black? I'd bet these filters are made by the same company only in different colors.

Bought this filter for my John Deere L100. Big savings over Home Depot. Quality of the filter looks good and the paper looks identical to the John Deere OEM filter I removed. The seal (blue color) seemed to be slightly thicker and fit a little tighter than the old filter when closing and latching the cover, but it fit and I have no regrets (I'm somewhat of a perfectionist so if it was not right I wouldn't use it). The John Deere filter may have fit just as tight when new, I do not remember. I would recommend and buy again. This was the first time I purchased a non-OEM filter for my L100 and I'm writing to let others know this worked for me.

I couldn't find these in the local stores. Perhaps because of the time of year. In SC our season lasts a little longer and I wasn't ready to put the mower away just yet. Arrived quickly and fit just right. Ready for next year!

Have used one of these already in lawnmower and it is working great. I got 2 of these for less than I was giving for one here in my hometown and having it shipped right to my door was great. The only difference in this one and the one I purchased at hardware store is they don't come in a package and all I do with the package is throw it away!
