Supercharged Vintage Firecracker Labels 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Atlantis Toy and Hobby (Horizontal Version, 1000)

Once upon a time dear sweet auntie watched b&w tv and did jig saw puzzles on her plastic covered couch. Like many things, improvements have been made.The colors cut and charisma of this puzzle series are outstanding. The shapes, colors, materials are quality laden; unlike many other puzzles I have tried lately, there was very little "dust" from the manufacturing process. Being based on real product packaging of days long gone is to me an added joy.Yes the subject matter of this one "...could take out an eye..." literally, as mostly moms moaned, and sadly the products depicted became gone and that familiar lingering reek no more. Yet this puzzle now "...takes out an eye..." figuratively. We are going to mount 'er, in a manner of speaking, in our entertainment room because of how good it looks.Lest you snicker at electricity free diversions...hah...you still need a good light and a hand held device (think Sherlock) to do it up properly. And oh yeah, two additional things that get bonus buildup and that typically need the exercise: the right and left areas of the brain. You are working with colors, shapes, scripts, faces, places, things and so on, trying to make sense out of a controlled chaos - that it is fun is a bonus.I guess you might say I really liked it.

A really fun and challenging puzzle. My husband loves fireworks and is especially a fan and collector of firecracker package art. He really liked this! The puzzle was really well made and the pieces fit together nicely. Highly recommended.

This puzzle was a challenge and a lot of fun. The unusual piece sizes and shapes took a bit more time to solve.
