TEGADERM Plus +PAD 3M Film Dressings 5cm x 7cm x 20 3582 Transparent/Waterproof/Non-Adh Pad

I had scraped the skin off my shin and needed waterproof bandage so that I could continue with my shower every morning .I have had similar problems over the years and these are the first bandages that actually do the job properly.They are easy to apply and stay stuck on then are easy to remove without damaging the surrounding skin.Absolutly brilliant.

Theses dressings are brilliant - once on you can safely get in the shower and not have the fall off ( I would not try putting in a bath or soaking for prolonged period) I had to cover 10 stitches for 2 weeks on my knee and only had to replace this once.Easy to peel off the skin when need to replace, not to be overly graphic the day after the operation there was a bit of a bleed so had to remove the dressing applied and stop the bleed. Once that was done used a new dressing.The thing I had not noticed when I applied the new dressing was the packaging. It might help you to know.To apply first remove the dressing from outer packaging film. Then peel away the backing paper and press firmly down onto skin.The clear part is sticky and will stick to skin. Finally on the from of the dressing is a white paper covering over the clear sticky part, I hacked away at this to get it to peel off with my nails and finally used scissors. That’s when I found there is a join on the side which is purposefully cut out to allow you to peel away the paper cover and then smooth down the clear sticky part.Other than that very good product that arrived promptly.Stitches are all gone now and scar is healing up nicely

I use these as I have an allergy to most plasters causing me blisters. These are great. Easy to put on but if left on for long time hard to get off. Fab water resistant.

I suffer from a skin picking disorder. So when my skin flairs up I like to cover the wounds so I don’t pick any further.I’ve use tegaderm plasters before with no issues, but that’s normally with out the pad which these particular ones have.I’m finding that once insitu if I get the plaster wet they come off pretty quickly so not great in terms of stickiness.Easy to put on and ok for other areas of my body that don’t get wet like my hands.

I bought these dressings to protect my wound after surgery as I planned to go to the beach whilst on holiday. I was very surprised to find that not only were these dressings waterproof, they actually withstood a good couple of hours of splashing around in heavy waves! The dressing was placed on my side, partly covered by my bikini so it also lasted through a lot of movement and friction. I only needed a single dressing each day I visited the beach and it would last for the entire time, keeping my wound dry and protected. I fully recommend applying these to dry, clean skin that is free from any product and it will last for hours!
