I'm super OCD when it comes to things being level and evenly spaced something like a laser level is right up my alley... This one is very affordable compared to others and performs well. It has many uses around the house or on the job site. It's not huge and feels solid except for the battery door. It uses 2 AA batteries and after skimming through the instructions is pretty easy to use... The line shows up bright and straight and has more range than similar levels. I have a tripod but I like the magnetic bracket included also...

The brightness level on this tool is adjustable. I really like how bright the light is. There is no squinting trying to find the light or having to wait until there is adequate shade to use it. This is especially useful when using it for outside projects. I love how this is easy to mount from a screw. This made putting up lots of frames a breeze. It can also mount on metal surfaces. Overall, the shape makes it easy to keep it secure and steady. I hope to tackle a home tiling project and this should be just what I need. The size is good for home use but it is a bit bulky if you want to keep it in a tool box and cart it around. Overall, this a very useful tool for home projects that you don't want to have that DIY look!

Short, Sweet, and Simple Review. This product has helped me with hanging up nearly all of the pictures, mirrors, art, and anything else I needed mount on my walls. I will say I don't fully understand this device, even after going through the instructions. I can't seem to figure out how to properly move the horizontal laser up and down, so instead of just giving up on the device I mounted this on a camera tripod that has the ability to be extended to various heights and it worked well for me. Once I get a chance I will sit down once again and try to go over the instructions again. I wish this product had buttons that were specifically made to adjust the levels on the vertical and horizontal axis, which would fix the issue I face currently.

I have never owned a laser level like this before, and I have been pretty happy with it! I just use the basic functionality for hanging things around the house, and it has worked very effectively for me.

I mounted the level on a tripod and was easily able to not only get them in a straight line across the entire yard but exactly level. Some of them are torcheres so they’re really tall. This was the perfect tool. I did it at dusk although I didn’t have to. Well, this certainly was a lot brighter than I anticipated! You might want to consider wearing eye protection when you use this, like some very dark sunglasses, because this is so bright that you will want to avoid looking directly at the laser beam, or even the reflection of it if it shines back at you on a mirror. It takes two (included) AA batteries. This laser level will make hanging picture frames or shelves a breeze because you will know at-a-glance how to make it level. It comes with a carrying case and a mounting bracket. My only complaint is that the instructions could be a lot clearer. It took me a little while to figure out how to turn the thing on and off and how to adjust the brightness. One thing you'll want to do is take the batteries out if you won't be using it for a few days, because they will drain.

This was my first laser level and for the price I didn't really know what to expect but after reading the instructions and played with it I found that it is easy to set up and easy to use, it comes with a carry case and seems durable enough however the manufacture states that this unit is IP54 dust and water resistant, the battery compartment cover doesn't have a rubber seal so I wouldn't trust the water resistant claim.
