Not for beginner. Outlining pattern very difficult to follow. Poor quality floss. It kept knotting and I did not have enough black floss to finish outlining. Cute picture when finished, but doubt that I will do another from this company.

Super cute! Wish the three was arranged differently tho. Maybe by the symbol not a number?

This is the third Design Works kit I have completed, and I really like the inspired designs but not much else. They have never included a cut of fabric large enough to satisfy framers (who like a 4” margin on all sides) so I am forced to purchase replacement fabric; the thread is often of poor quality and/or insufficient so I must provide DMC also at additional expense. The chart is not large enough to be comfortable because I highlight squares I have finished. I also question the color choices of designers; for example, I changed the lower right hand flower on this chart because it looks more balanced. As I work, I tweak the charts to make a more defined view by using 1/4 and 3/4 stitches. The finished pieces is stunning but only because I have the skill to improve on their charts.

Printed pattern squares are smaller that squares on fabric. Very difficult to see and will likely have to take it to get enlarged.

It is a Christmas gift for my daughter what work, she is going to love it...

Nice kit. Strands are not super sure on the card, guide is a bit small, and colors are a bit different than the picture. Really cute and a fun design.

I made for a special teacher. It was easy, simple instructions and very colorful.

Instruction sheet is small and that makes it harder to read. Had to use magnify glass
