This CD/DVD captures the finest moments of a two year experiment between the psychedelic rock group Artanker Convoy and the art collective MUX, offering a glimpse of the aural and visual experience that has perviously only been available to a live audience. Artanker Convoy generates the soung: alien waves punctuated by sly rhytmns that accomodate a crowd whether it's dancing, watching or relaxing. MUX brings the combined visual acumen of choreographers, lighting soecialists and video artists to create an ehtereal landscape through which the band dissolves and dancers flow through. The nine videos range from live performances to animation to abstract op-art. The CD contains Convoy's most fully realized studio compositions to date.

it thinks it's better than it is
I liked Artanker's other album, so I ordered this one with the expectation of it being just as good. As it stands, it seems like it wants to be better than it really is. I was surprised that there was a whole bunch of DVD extras and music videos, definitely a bonus, but the content was just underwhelming. If you like aimless semi-groove mushroom music, this is probably pretty good, but if you're looking for something with a point, you might be disappointed. Maybe I'm just not hip enough...

Just OK
I originally heard Artanker's album, Mature Fantasy, and was really interested in exploring more. That album is excellent, while this one is not. This album will sit in my collection without being heard.
