Love this bag good for traveling .

I had wanted to replace my old "feed bag" that i've been using for years to haul snacks and stuff with to the lake and to take my lunch to work in. Because the feed bag pockets are all open, things can fall out. If the bag tips over on the sand, then everything rolls out of the bag. I saw this cute canvas tote on Amazon and ordered it. It has a great zipper, works perfectly, no snagging. There are 2 pockets on the front with flaps. 2 open side pockets also. On the inside there is an open pocket with another well stitched zipper pocket attached for my phone/ wallet. Stitching is really good, all the lines are even and no loose strings. The color i chose is actually fantastic , a very nice true camel. Not that mustardy weird tone that sometimes gets passed off for camel. My only issue is the outside pockets are not useful for my needs. We carry large glass or stainless refillable water bottles and unfortunately the side pockets are only large enough to put a 16 ounce plastic water bottle in. We don't use those. I can barely get my hand in the side pockets. Same with the front pockets. Pockets are rather narrow and not quite long enough to hold a fork and spoon. Its a super cute bag, so I will find a use for it. It is very sturdy and well made, zero complaints on that front. I could load it with very heavy items and feel safe nothing is going to bust. But it will not suffice as a replacer for my lake bag/ lunch bag due to the size of the outside pockets. This is more of a book bag. Like if you use the regular plastic water bottles and wanted to maybe take a book and a hoodie and a snack to a park and just read type bag. Or only carry a few essential day items. I can see it looking cute with the right outfit. If this company made this same bag with much larger pockets to hold a 32 ounce bottle on each side and a fork and spoon- id buy several in every color and give them away as gifts.

I love this bag, it's thick yet still light, and it has zippers! There is a small zippered pock on the inside, and a large zipper on the top to close the top of the bag.I would say this bag is Unisex, but my boyfriend says it's a women's bag (I chose the black option) and he refused to use it to carry some of his junk to Jujitsu. (I didn't want him to take it anyway so WHATEVER! lol)It holds a lot and it feels well made. Reminds me of an old grocery feedbag from Whole Foods, it's nice.

This review is for the ‘white’ color of bag.As far as quality and looks go, I am very happy with this bag! It has a simple, classic design (with plenty of room for adding patches, buttons, pins and the like, if desired,) is true to the product photos, (though it is worth noting that the models in them must be pretty small, as they do make it look a bit bigger than it is,) and is well-made overall. A few loose threads which were easily cut were the only problems I found with mine, quality-wise; it isn’t often I’m actually IMPRESSED with the quality of something I got from an unknown brand on Amazon, but this bag delivers.Functionality-wise, I have mixed feelings. Though carrying it around is generally comfortable for me, the straps are a little thin (about an inch wide,) and I definitely wouldn’t try to pack too many heavy things into it. This is one of those bags where the heavier it gets, the more that I have to be careful about how the straps lay, or I will start to feel it digging into my shoulder. The canvas itself however is actually pretty soft and smooth and doesn’t catch on or pull at my clothes like some other canvas bags do.Although the measurements listed are mostly accurate (my bag is actually 5 inches wide at the bottom instead of 4.33, and the straps are an inch or so longer, too,) the claims of it being ‘large capacity’ are a little exaggerated. Couldn’t fit my laptop in the regular way, but could get it in sideways. The pockets on the front, inside, (see picture,) and sides are all big enough to hold a phone, but the side ones might not be big enough for a larger bottle of water. All in all, though it suits my needs perfectly, your milage may vary.I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone looking for a well-made, goes-with-just-about-anything classic canvas bag with great customization potential… but I would also recommend it for lighter everyday use, not for those days when you’re basically operating as a pack mule.

Someone was asleep at the sewing machine when this bag was made. The zipper doesn’t reach one end of the mouth, and is dangling loose at the other end with about 4” or so not even sewn in place! It’s just hanging there, flopping around.Back it goes…..

I for one, absolutely LOVE this bag. It's great for a beach bag, travel bag, daily bag, whatever! I've used it for all three so far. I appreciate the fact that the canvas material is supple and soft enough that I can stuff my bag with clothes or a large jacket, and use it as a pillow. It fits a good amount of stuff, has the necessary buttons to keep things in place, and is just my favorite bag. Also really great to machine wash this, as there's no weird buckles or things that can't be washed!
