Too soon to tell
Shipping was quicker than anticipated and everything arrived in good order. I did not realize that the heater element for the hot air pencil was a spare and I took the hot air pencil apart. It is a real chore to get the ground connector back onto the ground pin! The manual seems to gloss over that! I did a little soldering right away just to check it out and it all seems OK, but it is too soon for me to speak of the long term durability of the device. I will have to wait and see.

Average to Good.
Exact temps are nice and all heat-up fast. Nice to have an iron that heats fast to proper temp.I really bought it for the de-soldering gun. I have seen it work perfectly on some boards and poorly on others (seemed to need more suction). I wish it worked better in general use, but it's still better than a manual pump.Used HotAirGun to reflow some large SMD chips (with hidden-under pads) instead of "Oven Trick" ... it actually worked fine.I usually keep the HotAir and DeSoldering gun hooked up. I use the separate included iron/sponge holder for my Weller pencil.

rework station
I've been using it for a couple of years now, and HIGHLY recommend it. I gave it four out of five because you either use the solder sucker OR the soldering iron. I think they've fixed that oversight in recent versions however.

Not bad for price.
It was the best bang for the buck. I mostly used the desolderer, and it does clog up from time to time if not used properly. The physical make up of the desolderer is a bit flimsy. The actual soldering iron seems to be worthless, so I use my old Weller for applications requiring soldering of components.

Good soldering Iron
Ive had mine for about 3 years now. I have never had any problems. The smoke absorber gets annoying after the 2nd time you try to solder but its not difficult to remove. I would recommend this.

Un-repairable
I owned one of these for about 3 years before its display broke. It still works, presumably but you can't tell exactly what the temperature is set to or currently. What is worse there is NO WAY to get it repaired. I bought it from this vendor and they wouldn't fix it. Aoyue wouldn't fix it, and its really really impossible to take these things apart (a friend had a similarly broken one and we experimented on it to no avail)
