Arado Ar 196: 45 (Monographs)

An excellent book to coincide with the Revell 1/32 kit release. A read through by a native English speaker would help the written content however. It's not badly written just full of silly grammatical slips. Good photos, plans and colour sideviews. Excellent in all respects regarding this interesting aeroplane except for the 4.5 out of 5 score as mentioned above.

A good type history, plenty of interesting detail, and provides an insight into the use and abuse of the aircraft.

A lack of hard-nosed detail views, particularly of the interior, makes this one of the less-impressive modelling reference sources around. However, the text is very interesting with accounts of the aircraft "in action".
