Comet Paperback – 30 Sept. 2017

A beautifully written, absorbing tale, which reads like a movie. The characters leap from the page and stay within your mind long after the tale has ended, which is bittersweet as you find yourself not wishing it to conclude. The type of tale reminds me of Maureen Lee, Lyn Andrews and Annie Groves, with a fresh style of writing which brings life to the characters via believable dialogue, which grabs your attention from the first page. Highly recommended and I can see this tale upon the silver screen.

Just finished, very enjoyable read, would highly recommend...after reading on kindle, I will definitely buy the paperback to enjoy again. Characters brought to life, and memories of even my own childhood.

This is a lovely story with characters who are well developed and likeable. I enjoyed reading it very much. I agree with others that it would make a good three parter on TV. There is just one thing I would like to nit pick over; who proof read it? Because if it was the publisher they need to hire other, better ones. The author gets carried away with his use of commas (Hello, you lot," said Archie from his seat, "where you off to?" And, 'He pondered whether to tell her what occurred, he was still comprehending the fact, he was talking on the telephone to her, that she was not with anybody else.') and some of the words used are in an incorrect form, for example "their coming" and "too" instead of to. However, it's a strong story and enjoyable. The characters rather simplistically fall in to the categories of "good guys" or "bad guys" but this in no way detracts from the story. I would recommend this book and hope the author writes more of the same.

Fantastic read yet again from Andie J Fessey, can’t wait for the next one to come out! This piece of art really had me hooked! Will be recommending to friends and family. I’m amazed that no one has bought film rights.

I downloaded the ‘sample’ of this book, I was immediately hooked. As I turned the last page of the sample I just had to read the rest! This book is well written and I enjoyed every page. I’ve read a few books lately where I was disappointed with the ending, not so with Comet, a proper finish to a great book.
