I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, which oftentimes lead to insomnia. I have tried basically everything you could think of - melatonin, meditation, white noise, a diffuser, turning off electronics a half hour before bed, writing out my thoughts earlier in the day, acupressure, reading, stretching before bed, deep breathing exercises - you name it, I have probably tried it. One night I was suffering from insomnia and did not fall asleep until 8:30 AM. I saw an ad online for gravity/weighted blankets. I ordered the Aura Weighted Gravity Blanket that morning, and it has changed my life in such a positive way. It is 100% a worthwhile investment, as sleep is the foundation of healthy living! There is also quality research to back up the use of these blankets, as its use helps release calming hormones similar to those released when one is given a hug. I also love that this blanket comes with a duvet cover designed for it so the weight stays evenly dispersed and does not get bunched up in one area. This purchase from Aura Health is truly an investment in my health, and I am so happy with the results.

I did a lot of research. I wanted a nontoxic blanket with small glass beads not the slightly larger, clumpier plastic beads like those in the brook stone blanket that I returned bc the beads were large and they moved to one side of the blanket. The small glass beads feel more comfortable and these beads are sewn into a stitched diamond so the stay in place and are evenly distributed over your body. Not ideal for dhsring w a partner even if a larger size. I think each person needs there own. Not hot. Really works for anxiety, insomnia or ptsd. It keeps you in Rem so you don’t wake up at night. I bought a slightly heavier one and I think it is better to stick to 10% of your body weight.

This weighted blanket is very nice and seems really well made. I have sleep issues stemming from food sensitivities so I'm not sure if my review will be of much help to others, but I have found that it does help me stay asleep to a certain degree. I have no trouble falling asleep but after about 3 hours I wake up and toss and turn the rest of the night. I find that I am not doing that quite as often, but for me the true answer lies in the foods I consume. I do think that for run of the mill sleep problems that this blanket could be of great benefit.

I looked into weighted blankets because I like to tuck the bedding around me. I bought this one because it came with a cover and glass beads. It was delivered very quickly and was nicely packaged. I washed the polyester cover in synthetic cycle and dried in low-heat synthetic cycle; no shrinkage at all. There are 3 ties on each side of the cover and the same for the blanket itself. All of the ties keep the blanket nicely secured in the cover. The cover is velvety, soft, and smooth. The cover is a medium gray, but has a sage green tinge to it. After two months' of use, I am very pleased with this blanket. The only thing I'd do differently is I'd buy a heavier blanket than 15 lbs. due to personal preference.

I & my brother suffer from sleep disorders. My brother far worse than I am at MAX 2-3 hours of sleep at a time for years. Today he called to say he had slept 6 HOURS straight of a sound deep sleep!! Such a good blanket! It's a comfortable weight, and the stitching is very high quality. It's also a good value given that you get the duvet cover and weighted layer, which makes it so much better to clean. It's definitely helped me sleep better and is the best gravity blanket for the price!

Bought this for my wife!! She loves it. Took some finesse to get it locked in the the cover, but once is tied it in tight it has been rock solid.Provides a heavy hug all night to her, now she has no reason to hug me...it is a weighted chastity blanket. It successfully wards off all attempts for intimacy and repels any attempts at infiltration. This blanket is the pinnacle for birth control and should be sponsored by planned parenthood.

This blanket looks well made. The removable plush cover is very nice. The only criticism that I have of this particular product is that instructions on how to assemble it are not in the box. A simple sheet of paper with some tips on how to put on and secure the cover would save customers a lot of frustration. My other criticisms apply to weighted blankets in general. They are said to be a sleep aid. I do find the blanket to be very comfortable and I do sleep a bit better with it. However, it is not a cure for insomnia. Also the blanket is quite thick and insulating. If you sleep in a cold room this is fine. If the room is warm you will not be able to tolerate it. The biggest problem with a blanket like this is that it doesn’t stay put on the bed. As you toss and turn while you sleep the blanket shifts and you often have to wake up and pull this very heavy blanket back over you.
