I now wear these white shoes ALL THE TIME!They are so-o-o comfortable, with fabulous arch support.If they get dirty, in the water they go: cleans like a dream!

Cute shoes. These are typical Aetrex, with nice supportive arches. The entire shoe is made of one material, so you can easily wash them after trudging on dusty sidewalks or walking through bird doo.Since that same comfortable squishy bounce is also in the straps, they're probably perfect for wearing in the house, on a dry day outdoors, out to dinner... but I wouldn't advise wearing them around the pool or outside watering plants.The material stretches like an extra stale gummy bear and that definitely means cushy comfort. BUT, if your foot is wet, it can slide to the side and you may end up with straps underneath your foot or the bottoms on top. The stretchy straps are likely more of a risk for people with 3-dimensional feet who walk fast in wet grass, but if your ground is uneven and your feet are wet, just be aware.I'm not sure if socks would make a difference, but, hey, socks and sandals...Hmmm, that may not be the look you're going for; just don't sprain an ankle. I finally threw away my Aetrex slides made from the same material after they rotated on my feet one too many times.
