So far I've only used this against the rain, its worked well & is a robust umbrella. I do have a holiday to warmer climbs planned in the near future so hopefully I will test the UV facility then.

This is heavier than expected but this is probably because it has more ribs than usual. 6-ribbed brollies can be quite flimsy, but this appears strong & hardwearing. There is also a sleeve for the umbrella as well as the zipped hard case which is useful to whip off quickly if a shower hits. It seems to be good value & it arrived two days earlier than I expected which is a bonus.

Surprisingly bulky when folded, and heavier than I anticipated. However the material seems strong, the colour is good (pale blue) and the black lining should be a good sun barrier. A reasonable size when open, ideal for sun protection but not yet tested in any wet or windy weather

It looks sturdy enough but I would not use it in very windy weather as small umbrellas do no last in any sort of strong breezes. It will be very handy when I am walking a 10 mins stretch in sun to my car and there are no overhead trees for shelter and the sun is blistering and my skin is starting to burn. I hope it lasts for some time but who knows. It came in a few fancy little case but when I opened the umbrella, I could not get it back into the case as I am useless as that type of thing so I will get a little cloth bag for it. The little case will do perfectly for my sun glasses.

Nice umbrella that seems well made, nice and compact.

Bought with a view to carrying it with me when holidaying abroad recently. Only used it once as an umbrella during heavy rain shower - kept me dry. Main purpose I bought it for was as a sun parasol to protect me from UV rays of sun when out strolling in Mediterranean sun in daytime, or when stopping to rehydrate or when sitting reading my book on the balcony. Worked well. Bit of a challenge to get it back in slip cover with my arthritic hands but did manage. It comes with a zipped case which is easier to put it in but I didn’t take that with me on holiday as felt it would add to my case weight allowance.

Rather large for a travel umbrella. Took several attempts to get it to open. Once open it was impossible to pack it away neatly again. Sent it back because in the time it would take to open it I would have been wet through in a shower of rain.

The photos to advertise are completely misleading. It's double the size of how it's shown in pictures and so I have returned it for a refund.
