Extremely satisfied - quality way above the price
Finally, exactly what I needed! First off all I have an option whether I want to drill a hole in the wall or not. Second, there is a choice between motion detection and constant light, which makes it possible to use them as a night table light but attached to whatever is most comfortable (I don't have a space for night table so I attached it to the shelf above the bed).Third - it's usb chargeable, which saves the money since I don't need to buy batteries constantly.Last but not least, it's a really nice, bright lamp :)PS. I added a picture from the bathroom since it wasn't pitch dark in the room.

Two lights for the price. These things rock!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. When these arrived I was a little underwhelmed as they are very small. However size certainly doesn’t matter with these! The motion detector works a treat, including with Light sensor so they don’t go on during daylight (I’ve put one above my back door under a metal sill. They are clearly not waterproof so careful if you do place outside). They come with magnetic strips and plates for mounting. The sticky pads are 3m and solid. Really simple yet effective idea for mounting. For a small device they kick out quite a lot of light!

Really nice portable light, but MUCH smaller than anticipated
As the title says, I really like these portable lights by Omeril. I purchased 2 sets altogether, both of which were Lightning Deals and cost just over £11 for a pair. I think that's a fair price.Unlike a lot of other portable lights, these are rechargeable instead of requiring AA or AAA batteries. I've had the first set for over a month and they haven't required charging again yet and the brightness hasn't diminished at all - good news!In the twin pack you get:2 x lights2 x Micro USB cablesseveral strips of 3M double sided sticky pads4 x metal strips2 x magnetic strips with adhesive pads pre-appliedan instruction bookletOther than the LED light and the PIR/ambient light sensor on the front, the only other adornment is the mode select switch on the side. It has three modes of operation: ON, OFF and AUTO. Off is self explanatory, On switches it on permanently and will stay on until the battery depletes, Auto uses the PIR and ambient light sensor to detect low light levels and if the light is low enough to justify use, it turns on the LED light when movement is detected. In use this has proven to be fantastically effective, and not once has it failed to illuminate.I charged mine fully before deciding where to mount them. They were partly pre-charged so the charge process took less than an hour using an iPhone charger. I do like the fact you get 2 x charging cables so you don;t have to wait for one to charge before starting the other if you have multiple chargers like we do.I put the first one inside a cupboard in my office which is my charging station. I stuck one of the magnetic strips to the light, and one of the metal strips to the mounting position inside the cupboard. It works great! The second one is in my son's wardrobe and like the first, it works fabulously. The ONLY gripe I have is with the advertising of the lights. Before anyone points it out, I KNOW they list the dimensions in the description, but the old saying 'a picture paints a thousand words' springs to mind with the product pictures. The one I've posted in particular with the young woman makes it look like the light is as long as her face from her chin to her hair line. My face is about 9 inches from chin to hairline so it LOOKS from the photos that the lights are 8 - 10 inches long. They aren't. They are just over 4.5 inches long. A tad disappointing, hence the 1 star deduction. So all in all a 5 star product let down by sharp practice from their advertising team.

Great idea, but issues with movement sensor mean fairly useless.
Had these a while now and although originally happy with how they work, I have found a major issue.I felt battery life was poor, but after customer service said four hours - I charged and timed four and all lasted over 4 hours... But there is a design fault. The movement sensor stops working properly as power is drained, which means it doesn't actually work the way its needed!Four hours is no good if it doesn't turn on when I open the door.I did have some faulty leds, but customer service is good and they were replaced.(if this review was useful, please click "helpful' 🙏)

Small but powerful
As the nights draw in I needed a way to light the poly tunnel my son-in -law has put up in our garden. Although he put it up to grow plants for his gardening business I have a small corner to grow fruit/veg as a form of rent. Not getting home until after dark it was a bit awkward to check on my plants and water them while holding a torch in my teeth, so I bought these. They hold on to the steel frame with ease using the supplied magnetic pads and placing one at each end means they light up the whole area perfectly. The 10 ft range of the motion sensor means that they stay lit while I am working and the 15 s timer means that they do not waste any battery power after I have zipped up and walked away. The instructions state they shouldn't be used in a humid environment, but that shouldn't be a problem at the moment and when things start to heat up again next spring I will be able to just detach them and put them away in a drawer until needed again.

Great for under the stairs!!!
Got these on prime day so around £10 for both I have had battery-powered lights before that I placed under the stairs but none where is bright as these two are together in addition the lack of battery is a plus they are simply easy to put on charge they charged very quickly and the motion sensors seem to be spot on I will edit the review should I find any issues but even mounting these lights with two options of using the sticky magnets or screwing into the woods are both simple and easy to do can't fault these great purchase

Couldn't recommend higher
I bought these for a dark cupboard in my kitchen. Turned up and 5 minutes later they were installed and working perfectly.Good amount of light emitted - can quite easily light up a wardrobe, cupboard or draw.Easy to charge, and have several clever energy saving tricks - won't turn on in bright lights to save battery, and turn off 15 seconds after the last movement. They can also be used in a non-motion sensor mode which is ideal for situations in which you do or dont always want them on.Solid build quality
