Loved this series!
This was my second series by Ms. Mangum and I enjoyed it just as much! I love the way her characters are so funny, quirky, and addicted to coffee and chocolate! The main character Lauren has quite the original personality and is obsessed with matchmaking. She is beloved even though she drives everyone around her crazy. She is great at making everyone else's match, but is hopeless at recognizing her own. Woven through each story are scriptures of encouragement and faith. Great, sweet read!

Wonderful 2nd book!
For the 1st third of this book I was in shock that so much time had spanned since the 1st one, and I was wondering where the details were about Laurie and Ryan's relationship, but once again Mangum delivered and didn't let me down.If you've not read another other books in this series, then stop. Go back and read the 1st one. It's worth it, I promise. ;-) And once you finish this one you'll Have to read the 3rd one. I fell in love with Laurie and Ryan and the 3rd book is like the icing on the cake. Completely worth it.There are of course some unrealistic things in this book (like closing on a house in one week??? Puh-lease) but just shrug it off and read on. I love the sense of humor in these books. The main character has such fast whit. It makes it quite a fun read for sure. The 1st two books in this series are mostly about Laurie's roll as a matchmaker and you fall in love with all the friends and family in her life. Then the 3rd book is all about her own love story. And it's quite beautiful really. It's a must read!

Fun-filled matchmaking antics
This second installment in the Lauren Holbrook trilogy has Laurie focusing her match-making talents on her life-long best friend Brandon and his secretary Hannah. The story picks up the day after Nick and Ruby's wedding. If you didn't already meet the cast of characters in the first installment, Miss Match (Lauren Holbrook Series, Book 1) , you will quickly become acquainted with them in this installment. You will also find that coffee and chocolate addictions run rampant in Laurie's daily life as she struggles to come to grips with changes in her life. The major struggle evolves as her widowed Dad suddenly takes an interest in pursuing a relationship and goes off to a singles retreat in Michigan. Her relationship with Ryan also continues to evolve. However, it is interesting that she is so naïve about her own growing relationship at the same time that she has such strong perceptions regarding those of the people she is working to match. The author beautifully blends in Scripture and aspects of living a Christian lifestyle throughout the story. This is a fun easy read filled with lots of quirky humor that had me laughing out loud at times. I am looking forward to book 3, Match Point (Lauren Holbrook Series, Book 3) .

I dont usually leave reviews but I love this series
I dont usually leave reviews but I love this series! And its pretty obvious I do since I've read all three books twice . And when I found out Erynn was making a spin off series I figured it was time to refreshen my memory and reread the other 3 AGAIN. Im happy I did too because each time I reread these books I take something new from it. i first read these when i was only a young teen but now that im in my 20's I feel an even bigger connection with the characters. I can relate more to their problems that just seemed like far distant, future issues that were not worth pondering over at the age of 14. I'm always recommending these books to my friends.

Great, clean "chick lit"
I will admit that I downloaded the first book in this series because it was free, but after starting the Lauren Holbrook series I was hooked. I love chick lit, so I naturally enjoyed this book. I think I finished the series within two weeks...it was just such a good, clean read. We don't allow any programming in our house that has language or inappropriate content, but I realized that the usual chick lit I was reading was littered with that material. It is so refreshing to read a good storyline and not have to feel convicted about what I just read. This is probably one of the first series I have read that I would gladly recommend to any of my friends without any concern about the content. Good job, Erynn! Can't wait to see what He has in store for your writing!!

Even better!
Once again, great stuff. Magnum's writing style has improved, and her characters have been further refined. Lauren is maturing too, at a very realistic rate. I like that there is a lot of fun without too much mush in these books. It's like spending time with friends, but there's always something to be learned and a clear resolution to the plot. Looking forward to the next.

Better than the last!
I loved Erynn's first book MissMatch. BUT Rematch is even better. Erynn does a wonderful job of bringing you through the characters lives. You feel a part of them w/o feeling bored by unnecessary details. "Lauren Holbrook" is a fun character and the situations she gets herself into will have you laughing out loud! The multiple relationships all going at the same time keep the book moving, while the undercurrent of Lauren's own relationships keeps you wondering. I couldn't put the book down and I loved every minute of the read. Usually "chick lit" books are a litte shallow. Erynn manages to keep the book light and enjoyable w/o being shallow. There are definitely some "deep" things dealt with, yet the overall feeling of the book is FUN!

Love this author!
I originally got book 1 in the series as a free download. Didn't expect much, but figured it was a good way to pass the time while on an airplane. I was hooked once I was 1/4 of the way through the first book. I didn't even wait until I was finished to buy the 2nd, RE-Match. The 3rd one was great as well.... Fun loving characters that we can easily identify with. Clean, Christian values, God's word quoted throughout the book, and great story lines on top of it all. I'd like books #4,5 and 6 in this series as well!
