Made in Italy. When you talk to them --- ask them to develop a top cover cap for it.

Q: Can I buy other pasta attachments for the Marcato pasta machine?

Yes. It has maybe a dozen different noodle types. I have 6 of them and use all of them. Ebay has alot in good condition.

Q: This seems very expensive. are there any features that make it worth over $40 usd?

No. Just looks, and even then, we had to order twice to get one the emblem was straight on.

Q: Flour sticks in metal screen any remedy for this besides beating on counter?

Unfortunately, this is just a characteristic of flour, whether in this product or in another strainer/sieve. I found it easiest to hold it upside down and tap it on the bottom.
