In my opinion the picture was too detailed and was intimidating for my 7 year old and she didn’t want to finish it. If detail is not a problem for you or your painter is more advanced this is a fun activity!

My kids found these paint by number pictures very easy to do. The numbers are easy to read and the colors are vibrant. They didn’t have any difficulty painting the smaller areas. They even used their own imagination and added their own touches to some of the pictures (on the flower painting they added shading to the petals and leaves; on the llama painting they did the same with those flowers). I highly recommend this set for younger kids who like to paint.
