Simple DVD/Blu-ray drive
I don't use DVD like I used to, but having a DVD+Blu-ray combined with a USB hub and card reader, makes it much more useful. I do wish it allowed Blu-ray writer but it supports DVD writing and playing Blu-ray disc's.

The cable is way too short
Biggest downfall is the cable is way too short, should have been at least 3'.I was able to watch a Blu-ray movie but slow to load.I tried the one they suggest and also tried ANY4MP that offer other options like ripper that can convert the Blu-ray into an MP4 file.Overall it is plug n play but need a software to watch the movie. Getting a UGREEN USB Extension Cable USB 3.0 Extender Cord.

Requires internet to work
I ordered this Blu-Ray player to watch movies when I'm camping. Imagine my disgust when I got a message telling me to check my internet connection and try again. I was using the software that the seller recommended. There is no internet way back in the mountains.*Review Update* The seller reached out to me, offering a full refund. After some thought, I decided to keep the Blu-ray drive, since my home laptop doesn't have a CD-ROM drive. This seller does care about their customers.I solved the 'camp movie' issue by taking my Blu-ray player that was connected to my home TV and connecting it to my 22" computer monitor. That worked well.
