Colleen McCullough
Book took a long time to come as it obviously didn’t”t come direct from Amazon. Book not as good as Colleen McCullough’s usual sagas, but enjoyed it nevertheless.

On, Off
I've read every book Colleen McCullough has written, including a cookery book. I was surprised when I started On, Off to realise it was a piece of crime fiction but knowing what an intelligent writer she is I delved in. I am also a fan of crime fiction and have read a wide selection. This book was really enjoyable to read and, as I expected, well up there with the best. It seems that whatever Ms McCullough turns her hand to she never disappoints. This book deserves 5 stars.

Intelligent yet 'gentle'
Colleen McCullough writes the kind of crime fiction which appeals to non-crime-fiction readers. This is her first, next comes Too Many Murders, then The Prodigal Son - try them!!

Gory but gripping
Don't usually read murder mysteries but this one has really gripping story line with believable characters and a love story on the side.

finding Delmonico was a delight. All set in the mid to late 60's ...
Having read all of her Masters of Rome books, finding Delmonico was a delight. All set in the mid to late 60's these stories are well worth reading.

Mesmerising story
Certainly up to her usual standard of unusual, compelling topics, this was a really exciting read.
