Great sketch book for everyone

Pro Art is my favorite brand for sketchbooks. I am not a professional artist by any means, I just like to doodle sometimes and exercise my creative side, and Pro Art is great for that. I can blow thru a few pages of crappy scribbles and not feel any remorse because I'm not paying thru the nose for a great quality paper. I like spiral bound anything, because it lays flat, so that's a major plus. I have Pro Art in 3 different sizes, I believe. The perforation could be a bit more uniform; sometimes I get a perfectly smooth rip, sometimes I get left with junk. But I usually leave things inside so that really doesn't bother me lol

Great, durable art book. We bought this for our first grader so he had a place to doodle during free-time in the classroom. His teacher loves the idea and it works out well. He uses one page a day in order to ensure he won't draw through the whole book in a week! :) The artwork doesn't get folded and bent and he's proud to come home and share his work. Definitely recommend this, especially for children who love to draw.

its great sketch and drawing paper. I would not recommend using wet media on it, but that wasn't my primary use for it anyway. My biggest complaint is what is common with this type of spiral notebook. After several months of being toted around in my backpack and a good amount of travel, the wire spiral doesn't enjoy staying together much anymore and often is misshapen and gets caught on other spirals and books and fabrics. But again, I have used this for many months and it has traveled quite a bit with me. On the other hand, the hard cover has kept all its contents protected well.

The cover is hard and sturdy and I really like that about it as I take my art supplies around in a bag. The paper has a copy paper feel, a smooth texture with little teeth. Personally I prefer rougher paper, as it holds the charcoal better, but this sketchbook is perfect for rough sketches.

Lovely notebook. Large pages with thick paper. Perfect as a sketch book for my cake business. The cover is very sturdy, and the spiral is perfect for being able to open it to a page and prop it up for reference while working. Very professional looking when I have consultations with a client.

The product came fast, but the coils were flattened and need to all be re-adjusted so I can flip the pages inside. It is a good product, but delivery or maybe packaging was poorly done. These books were also not the ones I was hoping for. The product was correct, but they weren't the books I thought I had wanted. I will be using these, but as of right now have yet to draw in them so this is a short review without any photos this time.To give more detail on the packaging and delivery. Most of my Amazon orders all came in one box and with no padding on the inside. So it is possible the weight of that crushed the coils. Or if not that, then stacking the delivery truck improperly may have caused the issue. Placing heavier objects on top as the box has a tear in it, possibly damaging the products in this way.With that said, I might look elsewhere in the future since these were not what I had wanted. I do love the perforated line to rip the pages out afterwards though.Editing to correct a typo. Thank you!

Exactly that. The most standard kind in fact. It does what it should. No obvious caveats. Pages aren’t too sturdy but not flimsy either. All pages are detachable. Haven’t tried yet but I really don’t think it’ll stand up to watercolour. Works fine for dry media though.

I use this sketchbook as a notebook for brainstorming. Pages rip out well. Cover is durable. The spiral rings bent and came off a little at the bottom, but i break everything so I'm not surprised. Still works!

I'm after buying tons of these for my girlfriend. She loves them! She uses sharpie markers on them, and they never bleed or spread through to the other pages like other sketchbooks.
