This cooler/warmer is a game changer. I like using it in the mornings and evenings. Plus everyone asks what is that: lol. Fits perfectly keeps my coffee warm and my evening drinks cold. Only down side is I wish it was a tad bigger. However it was easy to install and start using. Plus it didn’t take up a lot of space. I’d add it would also be a great gift to elderly that are still mobile.

First off, this product really does cool a water bottle down or will keep one already cold from warming up. Or, if you turn it to heat mode it will keep a beverage hot. For the bad; you have to use a bottle that is exactly the correct diameter to fit down in the cooler or it won’t be very effective. If you have a metal cup that would fit perfectly you would have a very effective transfer of heat. Also, it would be nice if the unit could be designed to be taller. For a standard sized bottle of water, the top half of it sticks up out of the cooler area. The water in that zone will be hot unless you shake it up, but that still leaves you with fairly warm water to drink. If you only have around half of the bottle full of water, it will chill warm water down to refrigerated water although it takes it a while. It won’t be as cold as coming out of a refrigerator but it sure will be close. So it is a great idea. With a few refinements it could be even better!! Overall I would recommend this item to others, just beware of the negatives before buying. I use mine often and, despite the negatives, overall I like it. Power consumption isn’t all that high. You can leave it turned on in a vehicle without the engine running for several hours and the battery will still be ok. Just don’t leave it on overnight. lol.

Big disappointment my drink got warmer

I went through another couple of similar products (Peltier effect can cooler) before finding this one. I think this is about as good as this product category gets.However, even though it works, it's not that useful. If you're starting with a warm can, expect about 40 minutes before it gets fridge-level cold. When they say it cools a can in "a few minutes", that's a gross exaggeration.If you want to cool something faster, you need to "spin" it in an icewater bath. That really does get you a cold can in just a few minutes, so it's faster even than being able to stick a can in a freezer. There are products that will do the spinning for you (you can Google something like "beer spinner" to find these products).However, "spinning" requires an icewater bath. If you want to be able to cool something with just electricity, this product is the right one.Just keep in mind its use is kind of limited:1) if you have a warm can and you want it cold in about 40 minutes, this works2) if you have an already-cold can and you are going to slowly work through it over an hour, this works - but a Yeti or similar insulated mug also works, so long as you cool the mug first (pouring cold beer into a warm mug is alcohol abuse!)So, this product ended up being kind of gimmicky and I'm not sure when I'll actually use it. Investing in a good insulated mug probably makes more sense!

It definitely works as advertised just sucks the size of drinks it can’t hold anything bigger than a can or small cup. Anything bigger won’t cool the drink and it takes around 5 mins for it to cool down from room temperature

It's OK. It's best if your drink is already cold. It doesn't get that much colder.
