I needed an electric bike rear seat for my 10 year old. This is easy to install, secure, and quite comfortable even suitable for an adult. The extra things other seats have like hand holds and back rests do not seem to be necessary. However, you will want to add wheel nut mounted foot rests.

Comfortable enough for someone to sit and ride along

This bike rack seat is a great option for carrying a second passenger. Installation is simple, and it attaches easily to most rear bike racks. Functionally it's great. However, for narrower racks, the straps can’t be tightened, causing the seat to wobble unless you find a workaround—an annoying hassle when removing and reattaching it. A built-in tightening mechanism would have been a much better design choice.That said, the seat itself is very comfortable—on par with my bike’s main seat. The build quality feels solid, and for the price, it’s a great value—just hope it doesn’t get stolen!
