I really love this book! The book offers step-by-step instructions on how to draw each animal. First, the child draws the grey line, then continues to draw the next grey line, and so on until the animal is complete. It is easy to follow. I got it for my 3-year-old, but I think I can use some tips to improve my drawing skills too! These are simplified cartoon animals that are very easy to draw. Each animal has a 5-step process from the beginning to the end of the drawing. There are 114 animals in total.

This book exceeded my expectations for certain. While the pictures are done in a similar style they each show how just a few changes to the basic idea can really make a difference in the final drawing. And with 200 animals, a kid can find and learn to draw basically any animal they can think of! This book could start a child's love of art and cartooning for certain. Heck, I learned some new things for my own cartooning. Well done!

Some of the images are easier than others - which will lend itself well to graduating from simpler drawings to the more difficult ones.

Wow, this drawing book is super thorough! It has every animal (and fish and insect!) you can think of included in it. My daughter loved it, finding the drawing steps for each animal very easy to understand. She also liked that she could draw in the book itself instead of needing paper. While some of the names of the animals seemed a little unusual, all in all, we really liked this drawing book and highly recommend it for young children who like to draw. It'll keep them busy for hours!
