I am not too sure about the ecological effects of producing the silicone in the first place, however these straw feels very durable and should last a while (so long as they don't get mistaken for a chew toy).Personally I find paper straws to effect the experience of using a straw in a drink, it is much nicer to have something that doesn't dissolve in your mouth. These straws come in two sizes, and 4 vibrant colours. The children are enjoying using the larger/wider straws with ice slush, whilst the thinner straws are best reserved for more refined drinks.At the end of the drink, the glass and straw can both be placed in the dishwasher to ready them for their next use. A brush is provided for the occasions when something like a smoothie is too thick to be removed from the straw effectively.The bottom of the straws are cut at an angle which should reduce the chances of getting them stuck/sucked to the bottom of a glass.

I think that silicon straws are 'peak straw' - I can't see how they can really be improved.These straws, which come in two different sizes(the large is good for smoothies and milkshakes).The positives are:They won't break, they can even be chewed on and won't really be damagedThey can go in the dishwasherThey are eco-friendly as they last so longThey can be cleaned with the included 'tube cleaners'They come in bright coloursThey keep their shape forever and don't crumple or crinkleThe negatives:I can't think of one - I honestly can't think of one thing about these straws that I dislike or could nitpick about.Silicon straws are awesome and these are good ones, easy to recommend if the price is right ( I've no comment on value as prices fluctuate)
