The Leipple Dermaplaning Tool is fantastic value for money as you get one blade already installed on the reusable handle and 10 extra blades included. I was a bit confused as the product packaging itself says you only get 4 additional blades so I'm not sure if getting 10 additional blades is a promotional offer or if that's standard.The Dermaplane arrives in a carboard box with resealable bag inside containing the Dermaplane with one blade installed and 10 additional blades with safety caps in the bag. The additional blades come in two sizes, long and short, for using on different areas of your face.The short blades are best for using to shape/trim your eyebrows as they allow better manoeuvrability and control for smaller surface areas. The longer blades are better for using on larger surface areas.The Dermaplane itself has a coated aluminium handle with non-slip ridges that make it safer to use as you're less likely to lose your grip.If you've never used a Dermaplane before I'd definitely recommend watching some videos that show you exactly how to use it before you try it yourself, especially as the Leipple Dermaplane has smaller guard "bumps" on the actual razor than other dermplanes I've used in the past.My skin is sensitive so personally I prefer to use a tiny bit of shaving oil on my face before using a Dermaplane as that helps to stop my skin from going red or feeling irritated and I always follow up with an aloe based moisturising serum.On a safety note - always make sure that you clean and dry the blade after using it and that you replace the blade regularly.Overall - the Leipple Dermaplane is definitely good value for money considering the number of blades you get and I really appreciate that you get two sizes of blades. The blades are definitely sharp enough to remove hair and exfoliate cleanly.At the time of writing this review (20/05/2024) I can't find the blades themselves for sale without the handle so I'm hoping that they'll be available at some point in the near future.

There are 10 additional blades as well as the one attached to the handle, so 11 in total. The box says there is 2 long blades and 2 short, so just ignore what it says as you’ll get a bag with the replacement blades and the original razor.The handle has a good weight to it, the quality is very nice and the blades are so easy to replace and alternate. You just have to pop it off by sliding it out of its original slot, and then slotting a new one in. Each blade comes with a cover so you won’t hurt or cut yourself while doing so. The blades are gentle and I prefer the shorter blades because you can get a more precise control and get into small crevices like around the nose etc.

Really good quality razor and handle.Came with 10 changeable heads- 5 longer and 5 shorter.Easy to change out the heads.They can break if you put too much pressure on them, but was easily fixed with superglue.An effective and close shave on my face and eyebrows.

This is a great razor for shaping eyebrows. Easy to use and it comes with 10 refills, which make this product very good value for money.

I wanted to try this product out for a few reasons and one them was my eyebrows that I'm forever getting them threaded and I thought this could space out the sessions for me, by removing some of the hairs.It did, so that's good and the second was I heard if you remove the peach fuzz the makeup you use is easier to apply, but i'm not sure if i've found that the case so far.The Leipple Dermaplaning Tool is fantastic value for money as you get one blade already installed on the reusable handle and 10 extra blades included. I use these regularly and have had a variety of types over the years. This is the first time I have got one with replacement heads which is a very good idea. The blade handle comes with a blade and housing cap already in it and the replacement blades all stored in a nice ziplock bag. The blade itself is maybe not the sharpest I have used but certainly does the job with removing dead skin and peach fuzz. The blades seem easy enough to change and I think this is a very reasonably priced item in my opinion.

I ordered this as a replacement for the disposable variety I have been using, feeling it’s better for the planet. Well, in addition to throwing away less plastic, I also have an upgrade! This tool is sturdier, as you would expect with a non-disposable product, and is easier to use (ergonomically better in the hand). The blades provided are also a good bit longer which makes for quicker work (yet not so long as to be tricky in some areas). The blade works well, removing peach fuzz and dead skin effortlessly. Contrary to what it says on the box, it included one tool (fitted with a long blade) and 10 spare long blades. Very pleased.
