Great Covered non-stick pot
I purchased this pot to upgrade old and worn out pots in my kitchen. I first replaced one of my 7 quart pots with a cast iron porcelain enamel pot. I discovered it was too heavy and everything stuck to the bottom. I got rid of that one in a hurry and replaced it with this one from Amazon. You can't go wrong with Mirro brands I have found from many years of experience using this brand-name. It's light weight and I really like the way they designed the handles. Yes it's non-stick which is a big plus. Easy cooking and easy clean-up. I'll keep it functioning like brand-new by hand washing/drying it every time I use it. Great price, too.

Awesome, affordable saucepan!
So, for some reason I'm 31 years old, I cook A LOT, and yet I'd never had a large non-stick saucepan until I ordered this one a couple weeks ago. The first thing I made in it was macaroni & cheese from scratch, and it was fabulous! My old saucepan would grow a layer of burnt gunk on the bottom, which of course made any cream-sauced dish taste funky. I also like the clear cover, the handles that are easier to grip than the solid ones on my old saucepan, and the fact that it's pretty light-weight. What made me wait so long to buy this??

Not perfect, but will do
The first one arrived dented, so I returned it. I notified Amazon and they quickly offered to either replace the pot or return the money. I gave them another chance. The second one arrived imperceptibly dented, but the lid fits alright, so I kept it. I only need a pan to serve me for several months, so I think this one is a good fit considering the price. It's really big - would probably make enough pasta for 4 and soup for 8-10 people. It doesn't stick, but I haven't used it too much so I wouldn't know anything about its longevity and potential future mishaps. Overall, worth the money, if you are ready to overlook the slight denting problem.

Very sufficient size for a family of 3
I really love this pot, I use it every day.The best thing about it that the food does not stick to the bottom, so no charred food and no bad sticking residues that you have to worry about when cleaning. Best of all; it is really cheap considering the alternatives.Handles are sturdy and firm, the clear cover comes with no evaporation release hole at the top, so I have to crack it open a little bit when boiling something.

Good for gas Not good for electric
AMMENDMENT:March 2012Bought July 2011 as of March 2012 our new stove is electric and it doesn't sit flat and really hasn't sat flat but with gas it wasn't an issue with electric its not heating and its not cooking fast enough. Cannot boil water either. I recommend this for gas not electric since the bottom center sits higher than the rest of the surface.I just wish the Firehouse didn't go to electric stove. :(BELOW JULY 2011I bought this on a budget since it is for work. It works great, holds heat well, boils water fine and cooks evenly. It seemed really thin when I removed it from the packaging but after using it and cooking with it I think its fantastic. All handles seem solid, glass seems solid, metal is non-stick, metal walls are thin and cooks evenly.Used for Chili, stew, boiling water, making rice and more and i don't regret this purchase.

Fine pot
This thing is great. Handles and lid top are perfectly insulated and can be handled without potholders. Bottom is nice and sturdy. And it costs one-tenth as much as a Cealaphon or whatever you call those overpriced things.

2 out of 3 pans damaged! Do not Buy!
Have purchased this pan 3 times now, and 2 out of 3 pans were damaged. The lid doesn't fit, because the pan has been dropped or something, and it's not round.....kept the first damaged pan, because I can use it without the lid....reordered it, and the 2nd pan was fine....ordered another one, and it's damaged....will not waste my money anymore...there are pans out there that will come in perfect condition, and not damaged.

Great product.
I replaced a very heavy large pot with this. I just can't handle the heavy one (especially when filled) anymore. I'm thinking I will have to replace my whole heavy set with these pans.

Not as sturdy as I expected
The lid has no hole to let steam out , and the aluminium is not as thick as expected, most likely it will warp sooner than later and the bottom will be curved.
