a want to be great electricians tool
It just explains what is required in a way that someone interested in the subject can understand AKA me. It helped me to understand my requirements and what the electrician was installing for me in my shed/workshop.

Did not show how to do 3phase wiring.
All right for simple stuff, did not show how to do 3phase wiring, only 5 pages on 3phase most off it is a load off jargon. In the single phase range it shows how to wire, in the 3phase it does not show any off this inportant information, I got this book because the briefs said it covered 3phase, sorry to say not a good book. The text is easily understood, and at the same time makes you aware of the regulations
I have to build a new model engineering workshop, and bought this book to bring me up to date with current regulations and wiring circuits.

Its OK......
reasonable overview of the subject matter but little practical advice. Didn't cover the issues most workshop equippers face such as how to provide viable 3 phase / 1 phase electrics who can't afford the electricity supply companies exorbitant fees.

Worth Buying
A great series. I collected them all. Really a once-read book but I got a lot of good ideas and information from it.
