I bought this to teach myself how to fly fish.I’m normally a lazy ledger fisherman who just sits there in the bank waiting for something to happen. I decided I would get a fly rod and reel combo to teach myself to fly fish to get me up and more active when fishing.The rod and reel arrived quickly and well packaged.This rod and reel set comes with some nice flys in a good quality box that fits nicely in the carry bag.The rod and reel are easy to set up and use.I used it for the first time a couple of days ago and a recent fishing trip and fought my first rainbow on a fly which was an amazing feeling. A nice 6lb Rainbow for my tea, lovely.The carry bag has a nice strap that goes perfectly over my shoulder which makes carry the rod very easy.I am delighted with this rod and reel combo and have to give it 5 stars, my friend also loved this rod and reel so decided to buy himself one after he saw me catch ha ha.Great rod and reel combo set that goes nicely with my fishing gear.

Great rod for great value. Perfect for beginners. I changed the reel for a preloaded maxumcatch reel of amazon and can now cast as far as more experienced fishmen with more expensive equipment.

this is a great kit if you want to try out some fly fishing without breaking the bank , in fact it would be a great kit at twice the price, the rod really nice.

Just received the rod combi , bit cheesed off that the flies are all barbed however the rod itself looks OK and I'm looking forward to using it.

I was a first time fly buyer great rod to start off with pleased with it so far.

Package of flies and small tackle box was not with the order, communication very slow, and wants a photo of the item that didnt arrive.
