The first item did not change modes by pressing the switch, I took it apart but I’m guessing it’s a flaw on the board, all things were wired well. I clicked on the seller name in the item listing & let them know I couldn’t fix it. Ken assisted very promptly, apologized & made it right, it was a good experience & he was great to work with.The brightness is good, color is good, lens is good & casing is good but no waterproofing (glue, rubber or otherwise). The one with the switch going in has circuits inside, the other one is just an LED so keep that in mind when placing due to not being very waterproof.I tested with VOM in ‘all on’ steady mode since that’s all that worked for me, they pull about 800ma. The chips & led strip both got to 140F after 10 min at 75F ambient. The led got to 170F with no heatsink & still worked. The led strip has a washer glued to the back on the white side to transfer heat as it burns hotter than the amber by 20 degrees or so. It seems to do the job well enough as the casing gets warm to touch. I let the bad one run all night @12.5v DC & it still worked the next day.I looked up the chip in the middle, it says it’s an 800ma voltage regulator that can accept up to max 15vDC input. So make sure your power is under 15v. My truck spikes up to 16 so I’ll need a regular but I am use to it & have several.

Extremely bright. I used these lights to replace a $400 set of stealth visor lights as they do not mount correctly in my new vehicle. These lights are not only brighter, but are extremely low profile and lightweight. I was actually able to mount these without drilling anything because of how light they are. Install and wire tuck took less than 10 minutes. There was more than enough slack on provided wires to run and tuck entire thing on a full size truck. The only place I had to add wire was from the switch as I chose to wire directly to the battery. The switch box is a bit cheap and definitely feels fragile. It would have been nice if they provided double sided tape or velcro for the switch box. But if you have experience installing aftermarket LED light systems, you'll probably have this stuff laying around like I did. I definitely highly recommend these lights. I have installed LED light bars, surface lights, visor lights, traffic advisors and many interior and exterior light systems on many vehicles including small coupes to full size trucks and SUVs. These were by far the easiest install of any product I have used. Pick up a few pairs and be seen when you need to be. Smarts reside within the LED module itself so splicing multiple pairs into the same switch is not an issue. 10/10 on this product.

I installed these on a new little Kioti CS2510 tractor I just bought for snow blowing six of my neighborhood driveways. The cab on this tractor is so high I had to remove the moldings off the top of my garage door casing to get it into the garage. Consequently, I couldn't use my former roof top light. These two little lights are simply outstanding. I love them! I installed them just under the roof lip, one on each side at the rear of the cab and they sure let traffic or the snow plow know I'm blowing snow in that driveway. Everyone in the neighborhood knows where I am! Several of my clients have asked "where did you get those lights, they must really be expensive?" When telling them what I paid they often just don't believe me. I highly recommend these where a top mounted light is impossible to use. Next summer I'll mount two more, one on the mid front of cab and one on the mid back. The patterns are fun too but I don't mess with those much. Great set of lights for a very, very reasonable price. Super flashers! for safety!

First and foremost, I am reviewing these based on how they operate and function for a set of lights that cost $30.I am not comparing them to something from Whelen or any other major light manufacturer. I also did not install them as they came out of the box, they were custom fit to work for my application.The lights were benchtested to see if they worked out of the box and worked perfect. both the on/off and momentary switch worked fine.This unit gives plenty of patterns to choose from, however there is only one pattern that I truly use.They are bright, and a excellent choice for side lights. Be advised that these are Linear LED lights. If unfamiliar, look up Tir Vs. Linear.I have them mounted inside my vehicle, so I can not comment if it's water resistant/proof.All in all, these are a great option if lights are needed and your budget is limited.
