I got this to help my best friend learn how to do some self massage techniques to help work out some muscle issues they've been having after work.While of course all massage is better when it's done by the individual not in need of massage, these items are also really useful for a single person to use.The tools are all sealed with a soft polish of some sort and sanded smooth. They do absorb a little oil but I view that as a positive.The set is packaged really nicely and can be given directly as is as a gift. There are some booklets included but I always encourage folks to throw that info out and go directly to someone with the proper certification. Great buy.
