The media could not be loaded.  The instructions were impossible to translate so I don’t recommend trying installing it yourself. I had it professionally installed and until last week it worked just fine and then when It got cold, the mirror says no signal and turnes blue. When it was working the picture was just ok. I installed on my saburban to assist with parking and it helped but no where near a picture I would brag about. The lines that appear, red, yellow,green to line you up don’t bend with the truck, they stay strait. That was another bummer I didn’t realize when I purchased it and if I hade the option to go back I probably would not purchase this unit. The idea was cool but the execution was not.Update: Recently took my vehicle back to audio communications where I had the unit installed to see what was wrong and they told me that the camera had failed.

Looks sturdy enough. Should have described the “easy fit” vs the “OEM” versions, but, no matter. That part I can figure out. I truly believe in my heart of hearts that once I get this installed, I’ll be thrilled beyond expectations. In the meantime, the installation instructions re truly a piece of crap. I kid you not. Not having instructions would come in a close second place. I’m not an electrician, nor am I an audiophilist (or whatever they call music lovers), but it looks like I’ll need to visit YouTube and watch several videos in order to put this all together. That said, if you didn’t get my message clearly, buy this because it looks to be built sturdy. But run away if you aren’t into guessing at the steps involved, the addtl components necessary to install the wiring harness(es), etc. Trust me...

The instructions that come with this are utterly useless. I have installed several of these types of cameras over the years and am fairly technical and somethings are easy to figure out. But the camera attachment comes with a black, red, and yellow cable. No instructions at all on it. So, naturally black goes to ground, red goes to positive and absolutely nothing will happen. When I additionally connected yellow to power then it seemed to have started working. Also, there is a trigger wire for AV1 and AV2 but nowhere does it state how to change to those inputs without using the trigger wire. Overall, it does work as a backup camera (even without instructions) but the point of paying more was for the additional inputs and the front camera dvr, etc. none of which I am using.

So I'm gonna say this, had I known that certain features were the way they were when i was shopping, I don't think I would have bought this.Things to note:- Rear camera is only on when in reverse, it does not maintain a steady watch on the traffic behind. I imagine the only time it actually records your rear cam footage is when you are actually backing up.- Rear camera video quality is definitely very grainy. I mean it's better than not having it, depending on the lighting.- No "nightvision" switch, what I mean is that if someone is driving and blinding me with their headlights, I can't just flip the switch and toggle the angle of the lens. No auto-dimming either.- I had this installed by a friend who has an audio shop and his number one complaint with Pyle is they cut corners on the little things, light the contacts inside the fuse holder for example, or use really thin wiring.- No operational instructions, you know to program things like the time and date.- Does not turn on automatically just because you turned your key on, you still have to turn it on manually. This is a major bummer overall.Things you could consider adding as well:- a small diagram for how large to drill the hole for the rear camera so that you could also provide a small rubber grommet to allow the plugging of the hole.

I like the camera alot. My issue with it is that there are bo instructions for wiring the front camera. I had the product professionally installed at Best Buy and the tech could not determine how the front camera should be wired. I emailed the company website for instructions and never received a reply. So for now i am only able to use the back camera which is working well. Picture quality during rain could be better.

I brought this to install on 2002 Honda accord sometime back. I started with removing oem mirror but can not figure out how to install this new mirror with a metal piece. There are no youtube videos as well on this problem. I am now outside of return time hence can not even figure out what do i do next. Please help

I replaced a 4.3" Rear View Mirror Display with this larger Full Size Display. Same Manufacturer. The new larger display works fine but it's not as bright as the old smaller display. I turned the brightness all the way up and it doesn't seem to make much difference.

Seems to be made well. Instructions were terrible. Any reflection in the mirror except at night makes the image vERY hard to see.

The bracket to fix it to the windscreen only articulates at the mirror so, on my car at least, it would have sat far too low effectively blocking my vision out of the windscreen!Also, only the front camera records. The rear camera doesn't.On the plus side, the screen is large so as a reversing / rear-view camera setup not bad if it fits your vehicle's windscreen!

There is no instructions for the dash camera and you need to include the glue for the bracket. Quality of the image is a bit poor I was wanting for better quality.

Works well, haven't installed it yet but connected up to my bench power supply and all works well. Video is crisp and responsive
