Nice tie at a good price. It would work for business or pleasure, even matches a tuxedo I already have with red handkerchief.

The tie arrived nicely packed in a clear plastic bag. The tie is black, slightly shiny, but considering the price of £3.59, it's going to have some shine on it (not amazing material). It's just a simple black tie, which will do on casual occasions. I haven't worn it too much so I'm not sure how long it will last as the price point shows it won't last long, but the material is actually ok, not the worst, but obviously not the best. I gave it 5 stars because it does the job, colour is good, material is adequate and all for the price, it's top value.

Colour as pictured. Arrived without any creases and looks like will remain so as described. Standard tie otherwise. Colour good for general wear, weddings and funerals.

This tie is orange not red

This is a nice enough tie, I wear them rarely now but like to have a couple in the wardrobe for more formal occasions. My favourites have always been red/maroon looking cheerful but not gaudy. This is a little more orange than deep red, but looks pretty good despite this. The material is quite light and is hand wash only, but at this price it is a good choice for occasional use.

So I'm not really a tie guy. I don't need to wear one for work but on rare occasions such as job interviews, weddings and funerals I may need one. I ordered this as I don't have a black tie at the moment and as far as colours go black seemed pretty versatile.The tie itself arrived wrapped simply in clear plastic packaging. I was initially surprised at how shiny it was. I was expecting something a bit more matt, which if I'm honest, I would have preferred. At this price point it's made pretty well. At the back of the garment you can see some leftover yarn from the stitches which I cut off easily. This isn't an expensive tie so this isn't a big deal. One downside is that there's no cleaning/ironing instructions on the product page or on the tie itself. The tie arrived with some creases but I've no idea if it's safe to iron it or not.In conclusion. As always you get what you pay for. If you're on a budget or have a one use only event to attend this might be the tie for you. It's a matter of personal preference but the tie is a bit too shiny for me so I don't see myself getting a lot of use out of this one. For £3.59 I can't complain too much but if you can I'd recommend spending a bit more on a tie if you can.
