Great product
All right these are some of the best connectors money can buy , If you even know about these you know what I’m talking about, very well-made the metal inserts were well constructed and not cheap metal ... I especially enjoyed the plastic carrying case that organized them. I wish they would send a small instruction booklet on how to operate and put them together correctly though just my two cents ...If you’re not familiar with how to do these correctly you can YouTube it.

do not connect reliably
I finally got around to using these I bought a while back. Glad to see these are no longer offered. Once assembled, they do not make a secure electrical connection to other powerpoles. They won't connect at all to my windcamp hub.

Not as tight or robust as real Anderson Powerpoles
These work and are somewhat compatible with authentic Anderson Powerpoles. Everything is just much more loose fitting. The contact tongue is a bit smaller on the crimp on connectors.I would buy them again simply for my applications and cost.

Nice 30 amp connectors - I use them and the 45 amp versions on all my radio gear.
Nice kit. The parts were inexpensive and work as expected. I use Anderson Powerpole connectors on all my radio gear. Be sure to get the crimping tool. It makes fitting the wires and metal contacts into the plastic connectors easy. 30 and 45 amp Powerpole connectors are compatible and use the same plastic connectors. What's different is the metal crimp on connectors. The 30 amp crimp on connectors are for smaller gauge wire. The 45 amp connectors will handle 10g wire easily while the 35 amp connectors can be made to work but it's fussy. I also solder all my connections after crimping and add heat shrink tubing around the end of the connector to protect against flexing.

Better than some, but not Anderson quality
It was hard to tell from the product information, but this product is not the real-deal Anderson product. The metal parts are fairly well-made, but not as heavy as Anderson and they have an extra set of tabs, like a lot of crimp lugs, that really have no purpose. That said, the lugs crimp properly with the Anderson crimp tool. The reason for the four-star rating is that the plastic pieces don't fit nearly as tightly as Anderson connectors do, so they tend to slide as they're connected. I'll need to use retaining pins on these because they aren't secured together well enough otherwise, and it's possible for one side to make much better contact than the other. These are definitely better than other off-brand PowerPole connectors I've used, but I'll stick with Anderson-branded connectors from now on.

If you need Powerpole connectors, these work well
These Powerpole connectors match up correctly with Powerpole connectors that I installed on equipment years ago. The installation is exactly what you would expect if you have installed Powerpole connectors before. As far as I can tell, these connectors are the same as or 100% compatible with “Anderson” connectors. If you want to install these without soldering, I recommend getting a proper crimp tool. I decided to solder the terminals to the wires and forego using a crimp tool.

Fantastic Connectors For Any Application! These Should Be the Industry Standard!
Great connectors for any use. If you plan on using these frequently, I suggest getting the crimper that's designed for these. If you use a standard crimper, it tends to smush the connectors a little too flat and they won't seat properly into the plastic housing.

Don’t waste your money
Everyone of the housings the metal tab would move forward preventing the clip to engage, I had to jam a flat end screwdriver in the end to make them work. Buy genuine Anderson Powerpole.
