Not only is the content comprehensive, clear, and straightforward, but it is also obvious that effort has gone into the hardcover book. It is a book of substance both in content and feel. I appreciate having all the information I would ever need contained in one quality reference.

This book does just what it claims! Providing a holistic and definitive guide to laundry. There is good information for anyone who is just leaving the house for the first time, to ‘seasoned’ adults honing their skills.

Concise and very informative.

This is the kind of book I wish I'd read years ago before volunteering to occasionally (very occasionally, according to the wife) do the laundry. It is simply informative, well-written, humorous at times and could have saved me from owning so many tie-dyed t-shirts, despite the fact I've never bought a tie-dyed t-shirt.From the most minutiae of details on the cleaning products to use, types of settings and procedures for different clothing material, when to dry-clean and how to removal all kinds of grody stains...it's all here.Even if you think you knew it all when it came to washing and drying clothes or like me, just bumbled through it thinking "Throw the clothes in the washer, turn it on. What's to know?" you will learn the answers are a little more complex; all while expanding your mind, entertaining you and/or preventing you from having to come up with the cover story that your spouse's favorite jeans, with the newly created hole in the seat of the pants, are missing because they must have become a victim of the same dryer that eats the matching socks.For those who want to avoid looking like an unintended fashion disaster, stop people from asking "Wash Day tomorrow? Nothing clean, right?" or removing those embarrassing Dexter-like stains, I highly recommend "The Laundry Book" by Zach & Jerry Pozniak.

So, full disclosure, I initially tried to read The Laundry Book cover to cover (don’t ask me why), and let’s just say it’s not really that kind of book... BUT that’s totally okay! This guide by Zach and Jerry Pozniak is more of a trusty reference than a book you cozy up with at night, and honestly, that’s what makes it so perfect.These guys are fabric care pros (seriously, their family’s been in the dry-cleaning biz for generations), and they pack this book with everything you could ever want to know about taking care of your clothes and linens. I’ve learned so much already, from how to decode those mysterious care labels to their amazing stain removal tips. I also love that it’s full of science-backed advice that actually makes a difference. Plus, they tell you when to handle things yourself and when to leave it to the pros, which has been a lifesaver!The book has definitely earned a permanent spot in my laundry room. It’s clear, easy to navigate, and has quickly become my go-to whenever I have a fabric care question. If you want to save your clothes and make laundry less of a chore, this book is a total must-have!

So, I'm shocked that I actually enjoyed this book as much as I did. I mean, I'm a total nerd for cleaning, but even my husband thought the 'fun facts' I read aloud were interesting and found the information helpful and useful.The book is well-designed, easy to follow, and provides a lot of information concerning how to properly care for clothing.Though clothing is more affordable now than when I was younger, I much prefer my clothing to last a long time. (Also because I'm cheap and don't want to always be buying new clothes!) Over the years I've made many mistakes caring for linens, and I wish I'd had a book like this when I was younger. Yes, the internet is full of useful information, but it's become harder and harder to find reliable references and fewer opinions or advertisements. Sometimes it's just nice to read in a hard copy, which has been edited and gone through a whole process for publishing.TLDR: I liked it and wish I had it when I was younger.

I really am enjoying this book, "The Laundry Book: The Definitive Guide to Caring for Your Clothes and Linens". It's so much better than I even thought it would be; because it makes learning about your clothes/wardrobe a lot easier (and fun) to understand. There's easy to read print throughout the pages, as well as drawn illustrations. I like how it doesn't just talk about how to care for your clothes and linens, but also shares important information about products that are commonly used to clean them (such as laundry detergents, laundry pods, bleach, softeners, etc). This book is great to have either in your laundry room for easy reference, or it could be a nice coffee table book as well. I was thinking this could make a nice gift as well; I sure would have appreciated a book like this when I was younger and learning to care for my clothes. What a great book that is both interesting and informative! This book is very nice quality as well, with hardcover and durable pages. I love this book, and am very happy with it.

A book about... laundry? Yes, and I really enjoyed reading this book! This book was written by a father and son who are 3rd and 4th generation dry cleaners in New York. They write in an easy to follow and understand style with lots of information, history, and some amusing stories from their family business. The sections that I found most useful are "The A-to-Z Stain Removal Guide" and "Hanging and Storing Your Clothes". This book is 208 pages long and spread over 11 chapters. This book is beautifully printed and bound with lots of color images and highlighted tips and guides. It can easily be read in a few days, but I will certainly keep it as a handy reference guide. For the price, this is an excellent bargain and I would highly recommend this book for anyone. It would also make a great gift.
