I had purchased and ART preamp which required an AC adapter. I have loads of DC for guitar pedals but not a spare AC - which the ART requires. The ART version was more expensive but I opted for the Behringer version. It works great, no issues what soever. Easy choice.

This power supply functions as designed and is priced fairly. I bought it as a back up for some of my music gear which uses 9V AC. It is important to note that this is an AC (Alternating Current) power supply, not a DC (Direct Current) power supply. I saw another reviewer trying to use an AC power supply instead of a DC power supply replacement, which will not work properly and could damage your device. This item will work great for loads of rack mounted music equipment which commonly uses 9V AC power supplies.

I recently acquired a full-size keyboard MIDI controller, which came without a power cord, so I went looking on Amazon for a power supply that would work with the keyboard. I came across this power adapter, at a good price, and it worked out just right, for my keyboard. The power adapter is a good quality - I feel that it will last a long time, with good care, and I'm satisfied that I wasn't led wrong, in believing that the power supply would work for my purposes, being that the adapter is marketed as for other audio equipment. I felt that the product would work, since I know that many of these audio products have similar power ratings. Thanks so much for offering this product on Amazon!

Got this for one of my foot pedal effects for my amp. Fit's good about halfway plugged in so could work for others that have a deeper socket slot. The adapter itself has some heft to it so feels solid.

This adapter works fine for most devices that require a 9v in its sphere of compatibility. However, I need a 9.5v. Therefore, it is not the right one for my device.
