Could not find a size on these they look to be about 1oz

I keep my freezer at zero degrees Fahrenheit, and my ice cream is really hard. I hoped these scoops would work better than a spoon but sadly it didn't. After I left the ice cream out of the freezer for a few minutes, the scoops worked REALLY well. I guess nothing works on very cold ice cream.

I'll admit, these were smaller than I expected them to be, but as soon as I had a chance to use them I immediately liked them better than any other ice cream scoop I've ever used before! Being smaller they are easier to use, you just go back in to get more scoops than usual!We have been using one of those old-fastioned large scoops with the thumb-operated "sweeper" to drop the ice cream scoop into your bowl. The worst thing about that style is that it's all stamped steel and you're constantly putting pressure on thin gauge bendable pieces that hurt your hand.These are large cast handles, you get 3 of them to minimize the "line" when it's time for ice cream...even the "seniors" and the little kids have an easier time with it!

The silver ones are fine but the black ones aren’t food safe. The black paint chipped of the first time I used them. I had to stop immediately because I didn’t want to contaminate the ice cream I was serving. I ended up having to stick with the silver ones only.

The coating on this scoop flakes off and you eat it with your ice cream. We always hand washed it and it was never in the dishwasher.
