I play clarinet and this small fan fits my needs for air movement without being a distraction. It moves a nice amount of air, is small enough to travel with easily, and with the built in battery is self contained so there is nothing to forget.

I bought this USB fan for one purpose only; to leave on my desk positioned behind my router and cable modem to keep them air-cooled in a very hot room (no air conditioning!). I could have hooked the USB up to the computer sitting nearby but I chose to use the included power brick to plug it directly into an outlet.I've had it for a while now and it's quiet enough not to notice running and it's doing it's job by keeping the intended electronics it's aiming at nice and cool which will extend their life. Well worth the small investment. And at this price, I don't care if it were to conk out today. I'd just buy another one. It's that good of any investment for me for my purpose and already feel I've gotten great use out of it.Will it work to cool you down? Sure, I don't see why not. It's a fan after all. Has nice metal frame and swivels up and down to angle to your likeness.UPDATE - This fan is still going strong. It's on 24/7 and hasn't failed yet in over 1 year and 3 months! It's done exactly as I needed as well. I stick with my original review above. :)

I bought this fan for camping. It runs all night on its own batteries with no problem. I had not thought about it but it works great cooling while sitting in chair. I only use the low setting which is adequate for me. It does seem to take a while to recharge on a Jackery or other power bank but is faster on wall charger. Overall, I am very pleased with this fan. It makes summer camping more enjoyable.

I use this fan to cool hard drives, so it is always pointed into a desktop or the back of a laptop. These fans operate quieter than the typical background noise level in the room, usually a radio at low volume, and do a fine job of circulating air around a stack of six drives which actually lowers the temperature and evens it out. I get about a ten degree drop using an external fan. On the other hand this is a cheap fan so don't expect it to last forever, but as of now I have one used mostly 24 and7, in use for 8 months. As they say your mileage may vary but it does the job here.

This thing is so quiet and quite powerful, love the fact that I can charge it and then unplug it. Or leave it plugged in. I noticed some other reviews mentioned that you couldn't unhook cord,I'm not sure if this is the same model they're talking about. You can disconnect the USB cable.. I'm going to order two more of these.. these are the best I've found

I loved everything about this fan. It worked all night and was powerful and allowed me to get a good nights sleep while camping. Keeps charge extremely well. But after only a few uses and charges, the input charging port broke off the circuit board. Poorly soldered, poorly built unit. Now im stuck mid trip with summer hear. I was counting on this fan. Very disappointed!!

Had USB power port on work desk to plug this low cost, high quality, cooling, quiet fan into. Power it on in the morning and power off in the afternoon. I look forward to breezy wind upon return to me desk several times a day. Noise won't bother co-workers. My SONY bluetooth speakers accomplish that task! ♪ ♫

It was incredibly difficult to find a simple fan lol, i wanted to use this on a smart plug so the fan could ba alexa activated, this is perfact. The other fans out there are push button so of they lose power they stay off when given power again, this one has a rocker switch so it stays in the on position. Exactly what i needed.
