These towels are great. They can be worn as a swimsuit cover up or used on the beach. They dry quickly and sand does not stick.

I don't know what I was thinking, but I thought this would be a bit thicker, like a blanket and not a towel. Oops. This is a nice towel to use at the beach after getting into the water. I would not recommend it as something to lay on the sand, however. It's just not thick enough. The color is a lovely orange and it comes in a storage/travel bag, which is much appreciated. I love that it is 100% cotton, however. Still stoked to have this in my possession, even though it did not suit the original needs.

This is packaged in a good bag for easy carrying and it’s also very lightweight.

I haven’t used the towels yet so I can’t comment on softness, etc, but right out of their cute little bags, I saw that the color wasn’t even close to the picture. I wanted green bathroom towels specifically the bright, truer green, like in the picture. What I got was a washed out, dull, drab closer- to-olive green - olive green if it had been washed and put through the dryer and then left out in the sun 50 times over. I hate the hassleof returning things, so I’m going to hold on to them for beach days or keep them in the car for emergencies- the bags are convenient. Big bummer.

When you get this towel, it comes rolled into a little stuff sack. You might think as usual that 'welp, that's the last time that fits in there!' but that's not true. You can easily reroll the towel to fit into its little storage bag!The instructions say to soak this for 12 hours and let dry before using. I don't know if that's normal, but it's easy enough: toss it in the sink when you go to bed, and then some time next morning, take it out. It dried in full sun in about half an hour and I mean fully dry.I collect cute tea towels to use in the kitchen, and this towel is about the same weight as a tea towel you can get in the store. That's why it's so packable! It is Turkish weave and honestly, the color (I got navy) looks really nice, especially with the stripe pattern.Once its dry, you're ready to go. This stuffed easily into my day bag, and I went out to the beach with some snackage to test this towel under working conditions--picnic towel on sand. I can report that indeed, the sand just shook right out of it when I stood up to shake it. It's already softer than when it arrived--I think the soak removed sizing or something--and it says that it gets even softer.It's a nice picnic towel, but also works well as a quick shawl in these late August days, when the days are hot but the nights can be cool, or a scarf. There are probably dozens of other ways to use it, too.It's selvedge to selvedge, so there's no seam or stitching to unravel, so it's not going to fall apart, and the fringe is the warp twisted into tassels.All in all, it promises itself to be a portable, packable, sand free beach towel and it is living up to that!

It's not as soft or absorbent as i thought it would be but to be fair it stated to soak it in water for 12 hours before use and I didn't. It's a cute beach towel but I mainly use it as a regular bath towel because it's big. It's decent.

Got this for the beach - it is very close by - and it is fantastic! I was surprised how easily it shook out, not holding onto sand at all, and how quickly it dries when it does get wet!It is a generous size yet light weight and the color is even better than on the product page. I really like how it isn't bulky or heavy, it compacts easily! It goes through the wash very well, coming out each time a bit softer yet it still doesn't hold onto sand the next time it is used at the beach! Nice weave!I've also used it to towel off the dog and it does a very good job of getting him dry quickly AND it doesn't hold onto wet dog smell! Win!!Very much a fan of this very pretty beach towel!
