What you need if you prefer rope for hammocks
I use this to hang my hammock, and the nonsense about it damaging trees isn't true with this stuff if you tie it right. I prefer this over whoopie slings, huggers, and all the other stuff that just isn't necessary. Nice and simple using one piece of cordage throughout each side, and far more adjustability vs whoopie slings. This is what you want, not nylon paracord, polyester doesn't stretch, and it's also very strong, durable, and weather resistant.

A great tag line cord
I have both the 4mm and the 5mm and I use both for tag lines for highline slacklining. These are much better than paracord in my opinion, I haven’t had any of the problems with stiffness that other people have mentioned and generally don’t have issues with tangling either provided they are flaked well after use. My only issues I’ve had is that a couple sections on the 4mm are starting to bet pretty abraided, but this is after a lot of dragging over rocks though. The 5mm still looks pretty good and I’m tempted to get some 6mm for our heavier longer hauls but am conflicted because of the price. I haven’t tried using these in a microtrax yet and I am worried that the teeth on a microtrax may just destroy the sheath of these but I’m interested in trying it out.

Minus star for frayed ends and no Velcro band
Without any rigorous testing, the rope meets expectations out of the box. I ordered the 6mm and it’s nothing like paracord; definitely a rope. I subtracted a star for poor quality control and a misleading listing. Both ends of my rope, out of the box, were terrible cut and very frayed (see picture). Not a huge deal but annoying I had to fix it myself. Also, the listing photo shows what appears to a Velcro band on the rope. That didn’t come with mine which is also annoying since it’s shown in the product listing.

Still 6mm
Super stiff 6mm accessory cord to the point of unusable. Can’t tie knots easily, I am hoping that after being used in a 4-1 rig for a while it will loosen up. Not impressed with anything but price. Unless you need it for diameter size, or breaking strength, I would think a three or four mm would be a better choice. Unless of course it is too stiff as well.

Perfect fit for my tree pruner
My tree pruner needed a new cord. These Goldberg cords are low-stretch polyester cords in a close range of diameters (3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm) that let me select a diameter (4mm) that is just right for my pulleys. The cord is very round, with an outer braid woven tightly around a core of straight fibers. The braid is symmetric, so pulling the cord does not twist the cord. The 4mm cord is flexible, easy to knot, and runs freely through my pulleys. The Neon Orange color helps me see my pruner head working high in a tree.

this is a straight up rope
I dunno why it compares itself to paracord when it resembles it very little. The texture and stiffness is just a straight up rope. If you're expecting anything like paracord, look elsewhere.

Does the job.
I have purchased in both the 3 and 4mm sizes. The 4mm diameter ended up a bit large for my application. I kept it and purchased the 3mm. Nice cordage, very little set. I am using for rolling furler line on small sail boat.

received under 12' instead of 25'
Got less than half of the length, too bad noticed that when I already cut it in pieces... got 4 pieces 33.5" each... Now I can't send it back

Great for windsurfing down-haul lines
Nice and strong line that has low stretch. I use this for windsurfing down-hauls and I am pleased. The line has low friction too which makes it a pleasure to get the right down-haul tension.
