My grandson loves this scooter.

I bought two and after wasting some time to get the other one to work decently, I returned this one.

I grew up riding a scooter for years until it literally broke in half, and sadly never replaced it - until now!This scooter is a huge upgrade compared to the small-wheel variants that are really only designed for kids. The board is quite wide with good grip, making it much easier to stabilize on and allowing greater variety in foot placement/alignment for comfort. The handlebar extends to 3 predetermined heights using a detent, making adjustment easy and repeatable; and although I wish it could extend a bit higher for taller teens and adults at/over 6 ft, I believe it may be possible to safely adapt an adjustable bicycle quill stem to this scooter which would allow additional height and all sorts of different handlebars! While the scooter runs smoothly and fairly well right out of the box, I found the wheels of mine to be borderline too tightly fastened; loosening one bolt on the front and rear about 1/4 of a turn in my case really helped them to run more smoothly and spin longer - consider adding locktite to your bolts if you choose to do the same. Bigger wheels are definitely the way to go with a kick scooter like this - they seem to roll faster with less effort, and do a much better job going over cracks, crevices, pebbles, and bumps.I feel a little silly as an adult riding to my mailbox or around the block on a big-ole scooter, but I have a blast doing it and a smirk on my face every time I go out, and frankly there's nothing wrong with looking a little silly, especially if you're having fun! It's awesome having a scooter I can comfortably ride along side the younger members of my family - if you're an adult who has ever tried to ride a small kids Razor brand scooter, you know how uncomfortable and extra awkward it can be being on something so diminutive. Like I said, this scooter is a huge improvement over those smaller scooters!Furthermore, I think bicycles and kick-scooters will play an ever growing and important part in the transportation and energy needs of our society's future. Bikes are great, but even folding bikes are heavy, cumbersome, and awkward to take on public transportation; electric scooters suffer from many of the same problems, being heavy and often inconvenient to fold down to take on public transportation and storage at work or school - human-powered scooters like this make a great alternative, being very light, compact, virtually maintenance free, easy to carry/store, and very affordable.Just awesome!
