Strong suction, great build quality. Perfect for my shoots.
The suction mount sticks incredibly well. It gave me the confidence to get some wild shots knowing I could trust my OP3 hanging off a speed car. I love the versatility it offers when paired with my Osmo Pocket 3. The build quality feels solid based on my experience so far. I also appreciated the included safety rope, which I used as an extra layer of protection for my setup.By the third use, it still performed just as well, no drop in suction or stability. Highly recommended!

Do not buy!
Really bad quality the locking bit on the DJI Osmo holder snapped when putting my Osmo camera in it, very shaky footage advise not to get this!

Well Made Damping Arm
This Sniper-Pocket 2 Damping Spring Arm Car mount arrives in a reasonably nice looking, DIGITALFOTO branded, cardboard box. Inside the box you get the damping spring arm, 4.5” suction cup, rosette gear with NATO rail, DJI OSMO Pocket 2/3 holder, screw anti-slip cap, 5m safety rope, screws, coin screw, and safety rope screw & buckle. This damping spring arm mount is well made and has a good finish throughout. The aluminium alloy body feels robust whilst remaining light weight, and is a big improvement over the plastic body of the original sniper-pocket.The suction cup does a good job of attaching the arm securely, using the built in pump button to create a vacuum. Just be sure to clean the surface you are wanting to mount it to first. The NATO rail connector, and rosette gear are also easy to lock securely in place. Although throughout my use of it, the arm has remained mounted without any issues, the included safety rope does give some piece of mind when using it on the outside of the car.The arm itself has an easy to adjust tension spring, that can be adjusted to support weights between 150g to 280g. It should be noted though that in order to use a DJI OSMO Pocket 2 with this mount, you will need to have the “DJI Pocket 2 Do-it-all handle”In use the arm was easy to assemble and install. The results were good, and an improvement over mounting the DJI Pocket 3 directly to the car. The mount didn’t detach once during use, which is obviously crucial to its usability. It should be noted though that whilst it gave good results, it is not a gimbal. The arm is designed to dampen vertical bounce by 10-30%. So on smoother surfaces you will get great results, but going off-road or hitting a big pothole, you will still get bumpy shots.Although all the description photos show it attached to the outside of the car, another great use for the arm is to attach it internally to your car windows, to get shots of the driver/passenger. Whether that is to cut shots of them in with shots of the car on the road, or to use the arm specifically for vlogging/talking to camera. In conclusion, this is a well made damping arm and an improvement over the original pocket-sniper. So long as you are aware of its limitations (it is a damping arm, not a gimbal) and use it in suitable locations, it will improve your shots no end.~ Ethics Statement: Amazon provided me with this product to review and asked in return that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. A review in 2 Acts
The media could not be loaded. Act IIn which our hero is frustratedI don't think I have ever been more excited to receive a camera accessory than I have for this, I do a fair few car and motorcycle vlogs and have always had to rely on the static suction type car mount, fine for regular action cameras but not particularly well suited to gimbal cameras despite the fact that they are stabilised by default. This was delivered and quickly unpacked and assembled, not difficult but basic instructions would have speeded things up a little, and I set off for a long weekend in Wales to put it to the test, as the Journey there was all motorway I decided against setting it up before leaving, I wanted to try it out for the first time at slower speeds. On arrival is when things started to go downhill, torrential rain greeted me.Whilst the mount itself is very well built and gave me no cause for concern, the Pocket 3 camera sadly cannot deal with rain, so a decision was made to take a literal rain check and try again next day.We booked into our accommodation and waited.....and waited....and waited, the rain never stopped and the time came to return home.As the week wore on the weather improved and I decided that tomorrow was the day, except tomorrow didn't come as that same night I was admitted into hospital whilst now home am unable to drive for a few weeks yet.Still, summer has a way to go and I can wait I suppose. The mount itself is very well built, whilst being largely of plastic construction the struts are thick and solid, more than capable of supporting the weight of the Pocket 3, though it should be noted that with the fittings supplied it is also possible to attach more regular action cameras.Suction, despite only having a single cup, is strong, I have uploaded a video of it attached to my desk to illustrate but will replace this with a car related one as soon as I can, I have also test fitted it to both glass, plastic and metal panels on my car and it stuck limpet like to each, release despite this is also fairly easy.I did have some reservations as to whether the gimbal holder itself was sufficiently strong, but a velcro strap is also supplied to allay those fears, as is a cord for additional security to attache to the mount itself, I will decide whether to use these after I have Meade a couple of slow test runs.Act IIIn which our hero finally records footage from the mount. To be continued.....
