Great for boosting grip strength
Adding this grip strength trainer to my workout regimen has been fantastic! The construction is top quality. It fits really comfortably in my hand as well. The resistance adjustment is simple, with the dial feature. I can easily customise my workout anywhere from 5kg to 60kg. I really like the slip handles; they provide a secure grip even during intense workout sessions. It has been really helpful in improving my grip for pull-ups and enhancing the endurance of my forearm muscles. The counter built into it makes keeping track of reps easy and allows me to monitor my progress without fuss. Moreover, the buttons on the back for fingers bring an element to my workout routine that even catches the interest of my children!I always find this handy tool useful whether I'm at home, travelling, or even in the office due to its build quality, which assures me of its long-lasting presence in my fitness routine for a good while ahead. I strongly suggest it for those aiming to improve their hand and forearm strength effortlessly!

Convenient and Easy to Use
As someone who spends a lot of time typing, I've noticed my grip strength starting to wane. This grip strengthener has been a simple yet effective solution. It's small enough to keep on my desk and use during breaks, and the adjustable resistance means I can gradually increase the challenge as my grip strength improves. The ergonomic design fits comfortably in my hand, and the counter is a helpful feature for tracking my progress. I've also found it useful for relieving stress and tension in my hands after a long day of typing. While it might not be the most exciting piece of exercise equipment, it's definitely practical and functional. The plastic construction feels a bit cheap, but it's sturdy enough for the job. Overall, it's a good value for the price and has made a noticeable difference in my grip strength and hand comfort.

The design is comfortable and easy to use, making it perfect for improving grip strength, finger dexterity, and overall hand health. Ideal for athletes, musicians, or anyone looking to strengthen their hands and forearms.

Not worth it, the older design is much better
The media could not be loaded. I've been using the older design for quite some time and really like it especially when I got tennis elbow injury and had to adjust it for weaker arm. But was curious how this different design is going to work and it just didn't.1. It's much bulkier and heavier than older design and not comfortable to use (I'm not small - 6ft)2. the smallest resistance 5kg is way too hard comparing to the other one (see my video, maybe faulty item?), not useful for thumb training or weaker arms3. movement is very limited, especially at the top part and resistance is not gradual4. it makes a lot of noise with rep counter and it's squeakyI would not recommended it. Stick to the proven older design.

Steps in resistance not very refined and non existent for finger exercise.
The media could not be loaded. I have found that with advancing years the strength in my hands has diminished. This becomes noticeable when I struggle to get the top off a jar or bottle. Even a coke bottle can be a challenge. I do a lot of cardio and some general strength training but not anything particularly aimed at my hands. This hand grip strengthener is tailor made to do the exercise I am so lacking and it looked like it's resistance could be set so that I could start off low and very gradually increase the effort needed as my hands gained in strength. Also, because of it's relatively small size, I would be able to be keep, and use it, in my TV room meaning that I wouldn't have to go in my gym each time I wanted to do a few minutes. I feel that would encourage me to actually use the device because it would just be there, inviting me to pick it up.In use the unit feels pretty robust apart from the counter and resistance switches which do feel a little cheap and unrefined. The resistance dial does however work and a very high amount of resistance can be set. When it came to the finger function however the resistance dial had no discernable effect and I could find no way of increasing the resistance for the finger exercises. The resistance that is present in the finger exercise mechanism is pretty feeble and I can't see it being much use to me.Overall I only envisage one use for this device and that will be the adjustable grip function. For that it will be very useful and it will live in my TV room where I will pick it up from time to time to try to improve my hand strength. Value wise I feel that this unit is massively overpriced, at 19.99 for what it offers. I recently reviewed a similar product that came as a pair and also included a squeezy ball and ring. That kit sold for £12.99 and as far as I can determine has a more even control over the variation in resistance and in my opinion is a superior product.
