My daughter is now in tennis class and needed gear. It was a guess as to the size so went with large and turns out it's just about right for my shorter than average 10 yo. It's well made of durable stretchy Lycra like material, perhaps slightly heavier than the other skirt she has. The shorts underneath have pockets on both sides for tennis balls. This white skirt matched well with the white top she already had from athleta and now she looks legit ready for Wimbledon. As long as you have the right size, I think its a good buy.

We ordered these skirt shorts for our little daughter to play tennis with her friends in our new community club house. She says that she does how comfortable they are to wear, they fit her perfectly well and they are pretty easy to put on and take off without any hassles. Our daughter has been wearing them for the past 4 weeks for her athletic activities and she says that she likes the design of the built-in mesh shorts with pockets, the double layer skirt, the double hem and the elastic high waist. She does like that they allow her to move easily and freely as she plays her games in a variety of surfaces. She has washed them for a few times now and she says so far, so good, as the quality of the fabric remains intact. Highly recommended.

I got this for my daughter, and she loves it!! The material is flowy and soft, plus comes with built in shorts and pockets. Goes with relatively anything, but it's mainly meant for summers, or later in the year if you're in a warmer climate.
