Exactly what you want it to be.
I have put them at very essential locations in our house. It is nice to have an app that they communicate with to tell me when a door or window is opening. Easy to assemble. No batteries included. No rechargeable feature. Seems they could last a long time though, as they are simple devices. Nice to have the security and knowledge.

Buyer beware
I don’t recall seeing this in the product description nor anyone mentioning this in the reviews , but from what I am seeing on the app in order to be notified thru your phone that the door has been opened you have to pay for that service ?? With plans Ranging from $1.99 for 20 phone notifications up to unlimited for a year for $99??? I’ve never heard of such a thing for a door sensor. Can’t even get push notifications for free ? I have this on my garage door which I go in and out of a lot. So in order to preserve the limited amount of notifications I get I’m gonna have to try and remember to turn off notifications every time I come home and turn them back on when I leave. Thats not gonna happen. How stupid is this that they charge for push notifications.

Great Small Door Sensor for Logging
The media could not be loaded. This door sensor is great for keeping track of when a certain door is open or closed. The setup was straightforward and even simpler for me as I already use the app for different smart plugs that I use. It pairs with Google Home/Assistant nicely as well as Amazon Alexa. It connects with 2.4ghz WiFi only so make sure your router supports it before ordering (most modern and even some older routers do). You can install it either with screws or with adhesive of which I chose the latter. The adhesive is strong and I am not worried of it falling down. One thing to note, is that this only logs the time of when a door is open or closed as well as send a notification of it, but it does not have an alarm built in. If you are looking for a sensor that has an alarm for security reasons, then this isn't it. But if you want something for logging when a door was opened even just for basic security, I highly recommend it.

Works great but you might need a shim
My ancient 100-year-old house has door framing that offsets the door by at least 1/2 inch and has a gap of 1/4 inch which makes it impossible to get the two pieces to be close enough together without the use of a shim to make it work. I needed to scoot out the door portion of the sensor so that it always sees the frame portion of the sensor. Does that make sense? Anyway, I had this same issue with the front door contact sensor from a different manufacturer, so it is already something I had dealt with previously.I used a shim screwed into the door and then mounted the contact sensor to that with the screws supplied with the product. I was a little confused by the door frame portion of the sensor because even though it was much smaller, it still had a couple of holes in the back that made me think it might come off so that it could also be screwed into the frame. But I could not get it off and the seller only supplied the one set of screws so maybe it isn't supposed to come off. I resorted to using the small adhesive strip on the inset of the bigger adhesive strip. There were no instructions on how to mount the device. The instruction manual only covered the installation of the app and connecting to the network. The major reason I ordered this product was that it stated it used the Tuya Smart Life app and anyone with any experience with that app knows how easy it is to use. Had it up and running in no time and tested it to make sure it was sending me the notifications. Works great. Now I'm thinking I need one more for the garage door.

Too bulky
With how the device is designed it was too bulky and did not work on my door. I had to return it

Quality Product
Sensors work great. Connected to phone easily. My only issue is that they require a subscription for PUSH NOTIFICATIONS/TEXTS. $1.99 per month only gets you 20 notifications. The sensor doesn't make a sound or have a central hub in the house to beep when doors open or close, only your phone, if you pay, that is.
